Today I was joined on the show by Tiana Benjamin who plays Chelsea Fox in Eastenders.
We had loads of fun and caught nuff jokes, butÌýI think some of the listeners got a little tooÌýexcited hearing her voice over the airways!! We talked about X Factor winner Leona Lewis, gave away some prizes from Soaps Exposed, and listen back to the show to find out what happened to the guy who tried to blag New Years Day tickets for his wife's birthday!!
Tiana's a very talented lady with an acting career to be proud of. She's also studied dance,Ìýand being a rubbish dancer myself I had to get her to show me some moves!
Once again time was over all too quickly and I had to say goodbye.

You can listen back to today's show, and Monday's Christmas co-host with 1xtra Factor winner Nate via the 1xtra Christmas minisite
Tuesday 26 December
Well, Christmas is almost over :o(
It's amazing how little time you have at this time of year when you're trying to get ready for Christmas and hold down a job!
Thanks to Ace & Vis, It's been a wonderful Christmas! Made significantly more enjoyable by the presence of myÌýChristmas co-host Nate.
Nate was the champion of the 1xtra Factor competition, a search started by Ace & Vis to find someone to keep me company from 12 til 2 Christmas day. Nate did a fine job - Ìýhe even brought me a present!ÌýBut it wasn't all love at first; that Nate's a bit of a cheeky monkey.
If you wanna find out howÌýI got him to behave youÌýneed toÌýlisten backÌýto the show! You can also check theÌýgallery for pictures of our Christmas day show. Thanks to all the entrants, and everyone who voted in the 1xtra Factor competition.xxxxx
Wednesday 20 December
Wooooooooooo!!!
Today in 12 til 2 Jemma beat Ben to the chance of a place in the finals of theÌý1xtra Factor competition. In order to win they both had to face questions and challenges live in the air. It was hilarious! you canÌýlisten back to the heats that have gone so far and check out tomorrows contenders - the next round is tomorrow in TXU from 2pm. Remember, it'sÌý up to you to decide who will co-host the show with me on Christmas day, so check out all the finalists and support your favourite!
Tuesday 19 December
The buzzword for today is 'overwork'!
I am spread thinner than the last of the butter this month, I'm ill and I've still got to find time for Christmas shopping, wrapping and dropping off!! :o(
Plus, the hunt continues for a Christmas co-host in the 1xtra Factor! Have you checked out the finalists yet? it's getting very interesting. the contestants are all so good I'm having trouble choosing! and that's where you come in.ÌýClick here to see the winners so far, and see who you think deserves the chance to host the Christmas Day show with me.
Don't forget toÌýcheck which shows each contestant goes head to head on, so you can listen in and vote for you favourite!

Tuesday 12 December
Grrrrr!!!
Can you believe I have to work on Christmas day?!?!!
Not just that, but on my OWN, and withÌýno requests!
I was fumin when I found out. I have never worked a Christmas day in my whole life!!
Thankfully Ace & Vis have come to my rescue and launched a competition to find me a co-host for Christmas day.
Not just any co-host mind you, someone with the 1xtra Factor, whatever that is!!
Basically it could be anyone. It could even be you! What d’you reckon, think you could hold it down on air with me from 12 til 2??
ForÌýdetails of the comp and toÌýenter click here. You don’t have to be fit (or male) to enter but you do have to be over 16 and free on Christmas day to present the show with me live at 1Xtra Towers.
Eastenders. The big one for me. The soap I’ve watched the most, and for the longest time. I was totally unprepared for my arrival on Albert Square. One minute we were walking past storage depots and catering trucks, the next minute I was outside the car lot staring straight at the Queen Vic!!! Dirty Den has walked these streets! This is where Martin ran Jamie over. This is the place Grant gave Phil a good kicking for sleeping with Sharon. Frank Butcher was here. Bianca, Ricky, Hattie, Clyde, good old Ethel and her little Willy; It all happened here. The stalls were all set out, Dot’s car was parked outside the Branning’s house…I couldn’t contain my excitement, it’s a moment I’ll always remember!
I was, unfortunately still in my moment when Kellie Shirley, who plays Carly Wickes came around the corner. I tried to compose myself and do my interview but I’d barely asked my first question when it started to rain! We took cover in the doorway of Scarlet’s nightclub and Kellie got down to dishing the dirt.
I also met Kellie’s on-screen brother Deano, played by Matt Di Angelo. Now it might just be me, but I’ve always thought Deano looked kinda grubby on Eastenders. But Matt Di Angelo is extremely cute with very good skin. We had a good chat, and he revealed he’s a bit of a 1xtra fan himself, so lookout for Matt possibly making a guest appearance on 12 til 2 sometime in the New Year!
My one regret for Eastenders is that I didn’t go inside the indoor sets – the rooms of the Vic, The houses etc are all separate from the Square. But trust me, sitting on Arthur’s Bench in the middle of Albert Square more than made up for it!
AndÌýspeaking of Arthur,Ìýkeep a close eye on Pauline Fowler in the run-up toÌýChristmas.ÌýI'm sworn to secrecy on the specific details but I assure you her exit from the square is dramatic to say the least!Ìý
It's been aÌýfantastic week, visiting the sets of Corrie,ÌýHollyoaks,ÌýHolby,ÌýEmmerdale and Eastenders. TheÌýSoaps Exposed mini-site will be up for a while so you can check out any of the bits you've missed.
A massive THANK YOUÌý to everyone at the soaps who helped make it all happen, to my peeps here at 1xtra, and the crew from Silver Street on the

The Yorkshire TV studios are located quite near to the town centre in Leeds, and considering it’s on a main road and not tucked away there were surprisingly few groupies outside! You get a tingly feeling as soon as you enter the reception area – there’s a display case containing past awards the soap has won, and a widescreen TV that shows you what the cameras in the studios are filming right at that moment. There’s also a little model version of Emmerdale Village!
The outdoor Emmerdale set lies about 10 miles outside the centre of Leeds. We were short on time, so we didn’t get to do the tour :o(
Inside the studios is HUGE. Long lines, set after set, all next to each other. Listen to the show to hear Alex Carter (Jamie Hope) giving me a guided tour. That Alex is a cheeky boy. A right flirt, and very similar to his on-screen character. He used to be in Hollyoaks, but he’s very loyal to his currentÌýemployers - I had to shut him up when he started running his mouth about the other soaps!
I was most impressed with Emmerdale’s local pub. The Woolpack is larger and more cosy looking than the Rovers, which has a similar layout. Also, the pumps in the Woolpack all give out real ale! Next time you’re watching, see if you can spot who’s getting tiddly. It’s full of memorabilia too; stuffed animals on the walls, pewter mugs hanging above the bar, various souvenirs and mementoes… all getting a bit dusty though. There are even laminated Woolpack menus, although I can’t remember the last time I saw anyone eat in the Wolly…
All in all Emmerdale seems a lovely place to work. Another soap full of friendly faces. Not a bad word among them!
Except forÌýthat Alex Carter…..
Make sure you're locked tomorrow for the final day of Soaps Exposed. We're headed for Albert Square, the set ofÌýÌýEastenders!Ìý
I grew up watching Casualty, so spin-off drama Holby was a natural progression for me! If you were to stumble onto the Holby set by accident, you could easily think you were in a real-life hospital. Signs in the corridors, outside the lifts, equipment everywhere and folks walking around in their slippers and dressing gowns!!
I was impressed by how much medical knowledge the cast of HolbyÌýactually have; if a certain procedure or op is written into their script, they always research what that procedure actually is and how it’s done. Vicki, the lady working on prosthetics even goes so far as to… well, listen to the clip if you want to know what she does. She’s braver than me is all I’ll say!
I also discovered that new actors at Holby are all sent to watch a real live medical procedure being done in a real hospital, usually a heart operation. They’ve all said it’s a life changing experience including Patsy Kensit who’ll be joining the cast of Holby in the new year.
'So' I hear you ask, 'what was the secret I mentioned on today’s show??' Well, it’s a new crush. I thought my heart belonged to Calvin Valentine from Hollyoaks, but during my visit to Holby it was stolen by registrar Joeseph Byrne, played by Luke Roberts. Don’t think I’ll get anywhere with him though, he has enough on his plate at the mo. Which is probably for the best, I’m sure heart flutters are bad for one’s blood pressure!
Join me tomorrow from midday for a pint at the Woolpack. That's right, we're off to theÌýDales!
The first thing you see when you arrive at the home ofÌýLime Pictures in Liverpool is... Grange Hill!! The set of the teen drama was moved up there a few years ago, and we got dropped off right outside the front gates!ÌýThey wouldn't let us inside though, gutted. ÌýWhen IÌýentered reception, I thought I’d turned up in the middle of auditions! There were loads of good looking folks all walking around dressed up, and made up. I didn’t recognise any of them as mainÌýcharacters from the soap – and then I was told that they were extras! gorgeous! every one of them! Typically you’d expect there to be some competition among all those stunnas, but no, they all say they get along great.ÌýIt’s like being at college, without the bullies. At lunchtime everyone eats together in the canteen, cast and crew alike. I asked if we could grab a bite while we waited for the tour and we were told to ‘go right ahead’. Sitting in the canteen I got smiles from everyone, and I got talking to an extra,ÌýGemma, who gave me more info than she really should have about what's coming up on Hollyoaks…. watch that ClareÌýCunningham is all I'll say! it's about to get messy!Ìý
ÌýJust as I'd finished pressing poorÌýGemma for gossipÌýI noticed a gorgeous light-skinned beauty across the canteen… my heart skipped a beat, it was PC Valentine!!!
Calvin Valentine is played byÌýthe gorgeous Ricky Whittle. IÌýcouldn’t resist getting a quick interview from the best looking guy in soapland.ÌýNor could I resist getting a hug, and a photo, and a kiss. I did manage to resist slipping my number in his pocket, but only just!!Ìý
The main difference on the Hollyoaks set is that most of the locations you see in the programmeÌýare real. In some soaps, the indoor sets are in a separate location from the outside facadesÌýof the buildings. But in the ‘Oaks, the Loft really is at the top of that steel staircase, The Valentine’s house (formerly the Burton's) really isÌýup theÌýstone steps. The Drive ‘n’ Buy, Il Gnosh, the Launderette, all real!
Hollyoaks was a blast. And to theÌýwriters,Ìýif you're reading this,ÌýI still want a part! Hook me up! I'd beÌýa greatÌýMrs. Valentine!Ìý
Ìý Hold tight blood n guts fans, tomorrow we're at Holby...

Well, it’s been a busy couple of weeks. I’ve been travelling all over the UK to bring you a sneaky peek into the Christmas storylines from 5 of the biggest soaps on the box. I KNOW - BIG!!
Trust me, it was really exciting getting to go behind the scenes at Corrie, Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, Holby and Enders! I got to check out the film sets and meet some of the cast members who dished the dirt onÌýwhat dramas their characters face this Christmas. As you can see from the pics in the gallery, I really enjoyed myself. It was like the time I was 10 and I got to go into the kitchen at McD’s an see how they make the burgers……
So if you want the scoop on what's going down in your favourite soap this month, Check it all out here.
Anyway, here are some interesting nuggets I discovered on my travels….
Most TV actors are of Tom Cruise’s stature (I think it’s so they don’t look strange standing on the sets, which are also tiny. It also makes normal-sized people look fat! The camera really does add ten pounds.
When you see a flight of stairs, they don’t actually go anywhere, so anytime someone goes upstairs in a scene, they have to plot there until the end of the take!!
The food and confectionary in the newsagents and shops – all fake! Except the magazines, which are regularly changed to correspond with the week of broadcast.
TV sets are a lot messier than they appear. I’m amazed that none of the cobwebs in Hollyoaks show up on camera. Also, most of the actors look much better looking in real life! (must be all that stage make-up)
The trickiest thing about filming is continuity. All the soaps have a team of people whose sole responsibility is making sure nothing on the sets is moved out of place!
Most soap actors do actually watch the soaps they star in, and the others soap operas too!
Corrie is by far the stooshest soap. We weren’t allowed to go anywhere near the areas whereÌý were filming was going on incase we interrupted (someone must have warned them)
We were also forbidden to take any pictures of the backstage areas. And I don’t blame them; it was hardly shangrilah! more like a budget hotel - all magnolia walls and brown carpets lol.
It's alsoÌýthe busiest! What with being on-air five days a week, the set is always busy.
The cast and crew on Corrie are all luvvies! Kiss kiss darling! I got the distinct impression that the majority of the behind the scenes crew are secrectly BIG fans of the show. All except for Dot, the tea lady, who told me she has no problem telling the actors to ‘push off’ whenever they come with any diva-ish behaviour. Good on ya Dot!
Big ups to Liz MacDonald and Rita Fairclough, who both managed a hello and a smile.
Tomorrow I'll be bringing you highlights of my trip to Hollyoaks. So be sure to tune in from Midday, or check the pics now!
Wednesday 22 November
I know a secret... but I can't tell. It's a biggun! butÌýI can'tÌýeven give you a clue! I'm not allowed!ÌýIt's killing me!!! I promise all will be revealedÌýon 12 til 2 in a week or so, but until then I'm sworn to secrecy. Don't get me wrong, I can always keep someone else's secret, butÌý this is about the show, andÌýwhen I have good news of my ownÌýI'm usually bursting to blab!!Ìý
I'll have to take the example from the peeps in today's chatroom -Ìýthey admit to beingÌýgood at keeping secrets (most of them at least!) They are all quite honest too, we played truth or dare today! it was loads of fun. Missed it? Where were you? :o(
Make sure you join us for round 2, next wednesday from 12 noon!

My hairdo!!
It's such a blessing having a hairdresser in the family! (Nuff love Sonia) I'm now a readhead, or as Mike Anthony calls it; an 'aubergine head!!' Plus a little shorter round the back and the sides. you know what they say; a change is as good as a rest!
Monday 6 November
I must apologise to any of the guys listening to today's show who may have felt a little victimised by our 'cheating' topic. Guilty conscience eh boys?? Ha ha ha.... sorry, sorry.Ìý
Ìý
Alls I'll say in my defence is when a sister comes to me with a dilemma I feel her pain, as did most of the females who came through with words of advice for Miss L.ÌýI wouldÌýdo the same thing for a guy in the same situation. Oddly, I've not had any emails from guys who've caught their girlfriends at it. Can't think why.......
Friday 3 November
As the days get colder, it's all about making sure you have someone to snuggle up with on those long, cold nights.
Fortunately for me,ÌýI'll be snuggling up with geoffrey, my furry teddybear style hot-water bottle!! He'sÌýthe perfect companion; he doesn't snore, and he doesn't complain when I put my cold feet on him. With geoffrey by my side, and my extra thick duvet, I think I'll survive this winter..........

So...
Is there such thing as an artist compromising for mainstream success? Is it relevant to discuss the lyrical content of music? Who is to blame for negativity in hip hop? The artists? The industry? The Fans?
And fundamentally; is there a comparable difference between theÌýtopical content ofÌý mainstream and underground music??
I tried to avoid the debate on today's show, but there were a lot of opinions, so we've taken it to the ...

It's a lovely feeling, not being grumpy on a Monday. Something I'm sure Mike Anthony knows nothing about, ha ha.
I had to laugh at an email I got during today's showÌýfrom Wil in the States; He saw Lady Sovereign perform over the weekend in Washington DC, and was far from impressed. In fact,Ìýhe said sheÌýwas rubbish!!ÌýI asked him why, and here's what he said;
Ìý
"For one; sheÌýseemed drunk on stage, and reading from a sheet of paper on "some" of her songs. (Stage presence is everything)
Two; 'blah, blah, blah' is some lyrics from another planet, where education doesn't exist.
Three, i compare all female MCs to my top four Female Mcs of all time: MC Lyte for longevity, Lady Of Rage for rawness, Bahamadia for realness, and Estelle for versatility.
Lyrical content?? Here's a pencil, go write something suspenseful"
Ha ha ha!!!
Thanks Wil, you made my day. Also loving the fact Estelle is in your top 4! Bigup!!
If you have a story about an artist who was terrible on stage I'd love to hear it. share your storiesÌý
Thursday 26 October
I'll tell you what makes me grumpy in the morning - RAIN. Trust me, that SeasonalAffectedDisorder is a true sickness. I don't know how I cope every winter!ÌýI can bear the cold, as long as it's sunny! Please, just let it be sunny!
Wednesday 25 October
On today's show I asked for acronyms of the word POWER.
Ìý
They were so good I had to share some;

Ever get the feeling life is trying to tell you something??
The colour red is featuring strongly in my day. Okay, I know I sound like Mystic Meg, but seriously, everywhere I look I keep seeing the colour red! I'm gonna be extra careful, just in case...
Attention please....
My brother Jason is 21 today! Happy Birthday lil bro!! He hates it when I call him 'lil bro'.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIL BRO!! xxxxxxxXXXXxxxxxxx

I must apologise to my producer, Izzo who came out of today's show a little worse for wear. I know I may have portrayed her as a muscle-man-hungry-tattoo-hunter, but I must categorically state that this is not, nor has it ever been, the case. However, if you do have tattoos (more than one) and you work out regularly or participate in wrestling competitions, please send your details (with picture) to the show.
Haaaaahahahahahahahahahaha!!! OUCH!!!!!
OKAY OKAY!!!! I'm sorry! I was just kidding Izzo!!! I'll stop I'll stop.

Monday 23 October
Mondays are a funny thing, they're either better than you expected, or worse than you hoped. Mine was the first, luckily. I hope yours isn't going too badly either. But if it is, look at it this way; you could be a Liverpool supporter!!
Big ups to you if you're celebrating Eid or Diwali this month! I love fireworks but hate the loud bangs - can't they make quieter ones? I live near Wembley, where there are lots of celebrations and I enjoy the displays from my bedroom with the windows closed! lol. Be safe if you're using fireworks this year ok?

Friday 20 October
Friday Mang!!
And another fantastic Over 2 U. Skee-lo, Michael Jackson, Soul II Soul and Mark Morrison?!?
Next Friday will be the last classic request show for a while, so don't leave it too late to get you're request in, and be sure to tune in next Friday!
I'm back on air tomorrow, Filling in for Ayesha at 6am! and I'm a little bit worried about having to learn a new skill on her behalf, I hear it's sports related.....
So if you're up early, I'll catch you tomorrow. If not, then see you Monday. But If you're out & about in London tonight, I'll be at the Medicine Bar, Gt. Eastern St, Shoreditch. See you there!

Monday 16 October
This weekend I had my first crash course in music production. I say first, but don't expect me to be dropping big beats anytime soon!! Big thanks to Eastwood though, for using a momentous amount of patience while talking me through how to use an MPC drum machine. I have a new found respect for all the producers out there honing their craft. Me, I'll stick to the vocals! Actually, Eastwood and I have recently finished working on a track together (he did the beat this time!) It's called 'Not For Me' and Def 1 is on it too. Shout to Richie Vee who's been spinning the Delinquents remix. You know I'm funny about playing my own tunes on 12-2, but I'm sure I'll be brazen enough to slip it in at some point..........
Friday 13 October
°¿´Ç´Ç´Ç´Ç´Ç´Ç´Ç´Ç³ó³ó³ó…â¶Ä¦â¶Ä¦.
Friday the 13th!
Superstitious? Then more fool you! Luck is a state of mind.
For example; for Terry, who won today’s Lemar comp, it’s probably the luckiest day of the week!
But for those who didn’t get to hear their requests on today’s Over 2 U, it wasn’t a case of bad luck, more a case of time being too short!
Whatever you're up to, make your own good luck this weekend. ;-)
The diary revelation of my secret crush has caused me so much drama! Why does everyone seem to think I’m some kind of maneater??
So I’m officially falling OUT of lust. I can’t take the goading and encouraging jibes. I’m off boys for the unforeseeable future.
Probably til the next time dude gets on my train ;-)
Tuesday 10 October
My new desire this week is to go on holiday, because my friend Carla has just got back from Trinidad and she’s all brown and gorgeous and I’m jealous!
It’s also because The Great British Summer has finally gone, and I’m really scared of winter. I hate being cold! I’m already toying with the idea of scarves already, and wondering if there’s any way I can make wellies look cool.
Also today I’m mourning the loss of one of my childhood memories, cruelly thrown away by my mum yesterday during a clearout. Has your mum ever thrown away something you really loved? Tell me all about it on my messageboard thread.
Monday 9 October
The saga continues!!
I saw the object of my desire on the train this morning. This guy is cute! I had to force myself to get on a different carriage; I knew there was no way I’d keep myself from staring otherwise!
Had a chat with Spider, who listens to the show, he reckons that if you like someone it’s best to just come right out and tell them, that way you know where you stand. Good advice, but I’m not about to do that, especially not to a stranger on a crowded train!
Damn, why am I such a chicken?!
This is almost as bad as when I had that crush on Lemar. When I finally got to meet him in person I was so nervous I babbled like an idiot. Not doing that again! Anyways, I’m over that now, so I’ll be cool and collected, should I get the chance to meet him again at our exclusive Maida Vale session. We’re giving away tickets for that by the way……
Wednesday 4 October
I'm really bored this week, I don't know what to write about... I'm really boring...Ìý:-(
Ìý
I have a crush on someone... I hate crushes. In fact I hate dating altogether! You always start acting funny around someone once you like them. Funny as it might sound, I actually get really shy around guys I like. I might have to get some tips from Ayesha, she learned how to chat up guys on her show!
I will let you know if anything develops, but don't hold your breath because I don't plan on telling this guy howÌýI feel!
xXx
Tuesday 3 October
First day back in the hotseat this week; had a guy with a pneumatic drill living in my head yesterday :-(
Ìý
October's here, and all month we'll be reminiscing over some of the highs, and lows,Ìýin theÌýhistory of black culture from the last few decades. You can check it outÌýonline and listen to myself andÌýSeanie B who'll be taking you through a different year every day.
Friday 29 September

Wednesday 27 September
12 til 2 Regular Terry C was lucky enough to get given a pair of tickets for the recent Jay Z tour. He's sent us some pics-
Look at the size of Nas's bling! he must have backache!!
If you have any good pics from a hip hop concert you've been to, I mean good ones, (not ones where the artist looks like an ant in one corner of the picture) then send them in! we're putting a special gallery together for the Hip Hop Weekend. ClickÌýhere for more details.
Wednesday 27 September
Question; What's the best thing about Wednesdays?
Answer; The 12-2 chatroom of course!!
It was all things hip hop today, keeping in season with the 1xtra Hip Hop Weekend,
I gave a prize to the best hip hop name, it went to KRS2!! And we played Hip Hop Charades (two words, first word sounds like 'wiggy'?? second word rhymes with 'balls'?)
Answers on a postcard!
Just kidding ;-)
The chatroom is open every Wednesday from Midday, don't sleep on it next week, there's no telling what fun you'll miss!
xx
Tuesday 26 September
I couldn't do my diary yesterday because none of the computers in the office would let me log on. Sometimes I think technology hates me on purpose.... I admit to being a bit old fashioned for my age, but I like to think that's just part of my charm!Ìý:-)
Hip hop, hip hop and more hip hop this week, as the 4thÌý1xtra Hip Hop Weekend gets underway! Not that I'm complaining! But there is just one thing;Ìýwhy won't they ever give me show?! I whinge about this every year! Not even a co-host with Twin B?? I could'veÌýhosted one of the Hip Hop Over 2 U's... that is my thing after all... I can be raw.... if I really want to......
:-(
Well, maybe next year (sigh). I'm sure it will still be heavy without me.... (sniff).
Friday 22 September
Fantastic Over 2U today!
I'm gonna go home and listen back. Not cos I'm big headed, but because the selection of tunes were soooo good!
Don't forget tonight is your last big chance to win tickets to see the Jiggaman live. tune in to tonights Friday Night Mixtape withÌýSemtex from 7pm.
Have a great weekend, don't let the weather spoil it!Ìý
Ìý
See you Monday xXx
Tuesday 19 September
I hate when I forget to check my postbox for a week or so, becoz 1- when I finally do it's always ram and I have to lug it all home in one go, and 2-Ìý if there are invitations to film screenings or parties I open the invites too late :-(
But there is a flipside; a full postbox is like a mini-Christmas! lots of packages means lots of tunes! which mean more new music on the show!!
If you ever want to send us anything here - maybe you produce your own stuff or you DJ and you want to send us a mix, comp entries, fanmail, prezzies etc, the only address you need is; 1xtra, PO Box 1X, London W1A. Just remember to include the name of the DJ your present- sorry, your demo is for!
Monday 18 September
Monday's here again, and after a slightly shorter weekend (I was in forÌýJenna G on Saturday) it was back to 12 til 2 bizznizz. I've gotta give a shout out to Ekedji who discovered 1Xtra today, just incase he ever does take a look at the website lol.
It's a lovely day, in London at least, and to top it off I'm getting my hair done today. And not a minute too soon, as Ace & Invisible are bringing their fly-on-the-wall film crew in tomorrow for something or other! need to make sure I'm looking my best!
xx
Thursday 14 September
I feel like a minger today :-(
My nails need doing, my hair needs doing, and I hurt my foot yesterday so I'm limping around everywhere... I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself. And to top it all off, I have to play Tupac tunes on tomorrow's Over 2U!
Ìý
Oh yeah, here are details of myÌý tomorrow nite in East London. Hope you can make it.xx
Wednesday 13 September
Today on 1xtra we're celebrating the life of Tupac, who died 10 years ago today. We're taking your tributes on the website, and giving you a chance to win Pac's ENTIRE back catalogue (that's ALL of his albums). ClickÌýhere if you're interested.
And this Friday, I'll be taking your Tupac requests on Over 2U. If you want to leave your request, click........Ìý
Ìý
I'm stony broke this week after a hard weekend of shopping!
On Saturday I dragged a friend to Ikea to buy furniture for my bedroom, which my dad is decorating for me. (luv u Dad x)
Being a typical girl, I didn't take any measurements for my bedroom, so I'm praying that everything is the right size!
Ìý
On Sunday my aunt, sister and I went to London's Earls Cout for the Professional Nails & Beauty Exhibition, where I blew the rest of my bank balance on nails products. And some jewellery. And before you ask, there are a whole range of nails products to spend your money on, there's more to it than files and polish, trust me!
You don't believe me??
Thursday 7 September
Giggles in the studio today, as producer Izzo and I decided to disguise ourselves as Itchy and Scratchy From the Simpsons.
That's Izzo, the one that's not me.
As you can clearly see, I am Scratchy (the cat) and Izzo is feeling Itchy (the mouse)Ìý
Ìý
I don't think I'll be wearing my Itchy&Scratchy T-shirt to work anymore!
Wednesday 6 September
I wanna go back to Leeds :-(
No offence London, but you're just not the same!
Okay, maybe it's beacause I wish I was back atÌýÌýI mean, I'veÌýrelived the weekend shows online, at least twice, listened back toÌýÌýgoodness knows how many times, and lived on a strict jerk chicken diet since Holiday Monday..... But that can't be the only reason why I miss Leeds....
Can it?
Monday 4 September
I'm back! Nuff said.
I'f you're only just back too, I can tell you I was off last week because I lost my voice. Last chance to listen and have a good laugh at last Tuesday's show. Because after tomorrow, it'll be gone!
Tuesday 29 August
Well, if you heard today's show you'll know that Leeds West Indian Carnival was a big jump off!
My voice is GONE! Too much singing out over carnival anthems and shouting over soundsystems lol.
Ìý
It was my first time at Leeds Carnival, but nothing could prepare me for the atmosphere. The Leeds West Indian Carnival prides itself on being the UK longest running outdoor festival (Notting Hill started as an indoor event) And most importantly because it's the closest thingÌýto a caribbean carnival that you'll find in the UK. The only British carnival that celebrates J'ouvert morning!!Ìý Fiiiiiiiiiiyyyyyyyyuuuuuhhh!!
Huh? What's J'ouvert?? Well Dev didn't know either, but he soon found out!!
You get up real early. I mean break of dawn! People were out in their pyjamas and dressing gowns!Ìý
Ìý
You feel mash, but once the truck starts the music, you soon wake up!
I have to say, one of the best things about Leeds Carnival for me was the VIBE. I'm always a little guarded at Notting Hill, and I live in London ! But in Leeds you can't help but smile and enjoy yourself. I reckon all the Soca music has something to do with it. That must be why my girlÌýAlex Jordan is always so hype!
Friday 25 August
WOOOOOOHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Next stop Leeds! Dev and I coming to you live from 12 Monday!
Have you checked theÌýminisite yet? There's still time to check outÌýthe coming shows so you don't miss anything. And if it's your first time going to carnival, you can get tips from the experts and maps and info straight to your phone to make sure you get the most out of it!
If you're at Leeds carnival, keep an eye out for me in Potternewton Park.ÌýYou won't be able to miss the outfit!!
Don't be too shy to say hi if you do see me. Or any other 1Xtra DJ for that matter!ÌýBut be warned, if I catch you on J'ouvert morning,ÌýI willÌýdashÌýpaint on you!
And if you'll gonna be listening at home, be sure to textÌýin for your shouts!
Whatever you're up to, be safe, andÌýenjoy the bank holiday weekend.
xXxÌý
Wednesday 23 August
NO, I DON'T HAVE ANY TICKETS FOR THE CARNIVAL AFTERPARTY!
Monday 21 August
The weekend is over :-(
I hope your Monday is going as well as mine? If not, console yourself with the fact that it's Carnival this coming weekend. If you're not the carnival type you'll be looking forward to the fact that the roads/restaurants/cinema's will all be nice and quiet. But if you're NOT a boring old fart, get your carnival itinerary sorted! info on theÌýENTIRE 1Xtra carnival coverage is now online. Here's what I'll be up to with Dev inÌý
And don't forget to keep listening to 1Xtra all this week if you fancy wining our VVVIP carnival experience, complete with free hotel and strech Hummer. MMMMmmmmmmmmm.......
Friday 18 August
Have a good weekend folks!
If you've got nothing doing, then get online and have a look at theÌýcarnival minisite where you can now check all the live coverage we'll be bringing you from Notting Hill and Leeds.
And if you're looking for somewhere to go tonight, I'll be playing at theÌý in East London.
Whatever you're doing, be safe and I'll see you Monday.
xXx
Wednesday 16 August
Be sure to catch tomorrow's show where Jenna G will be joining me for Bare All. We'll be talking about people's first times and breaking down the madness behind sexual myths. Some of the things we've heard are unbelieveable! Check out theÌý to see some of the things people have been told
See you tomorrow at Midday.x
Tuesday 15 August
Still sick :-(
But the show was good! The Wifey Riddim saga continues, today we had Tinie Tempah's version. Tomorrow I think we'll have a clash of all the different versions we can get our hands on and decide which is the best overall!
I cannot wait for CARNIVAL!! Please please go and vote forÌýwhichever 1xtraÌýlogo you think shouldÌýend up on my carnival outfit. (pssst- i like the blue one ;-)
Ìý
On tomorrow's show I'll beÌýgiving away tickets for myÌý this Friday.
Ìý
Ta ta!
Monday 14 August
It's Monday, it's raining, and I've got a cold :-(
Which means from here on in, things can only get better!
I was up at 4am this morning, for the long drive to pick up my dad from Gatwick airport. So I've earned myself an early night tonight!!
It's Bare All this week on 1xtra, get ready for some big shows! Jason & Iyare kicked things off this morning - go check their page now!
xx
Friday 11 August
Hands up if you're glad it's Friday!
If you're catching a flight this weekend, all the best, remember to bring something to read (that means you Mike Anthony)
I'll be back at 6am filling in for Ayesha. I get to choose the Record of the Week! You'll have to tune in if you want to know what it is……..
We've kept it kinda low-key this year, but it's actually our birthday this month! Celebrate with us on this Sunday's , Mike and Trebs wiil be reminiscing with some tracks from our launch back in 2006.
Whatever you're up to, have a great weekend ;-)
Tuesday 8 August
I've got a busyÌýfew weeks ahead; I'm running workshops, teaching mixing to kids in South London. So apologies if I don't have as much time to write in my diary!
One of theÌýgood things about working at 1xtra is all the DJs. I've just raided Mike Anthony's CD wallet - he's not too pleased! Trebs doesn't usually mind though. Thanks boys!
Oh, I almost forgot. A trendy designer has designed two different 1xtra logos. I need you to help me decide which one will go on my outfit for Leeds carnival this month.Ìý to vote for your favourite and to be in with a chance of winning your own T-shirt with the logo on it!
Saturday 5 August
Woooo!
It's been a h
while since I've been up at this hour, let alone on air!
I'm filling in for Ayesha this morning, 6-9. Brings back some memories........
Having 3 hours on air is fun tho! Have a listen to the show if you want to hear how I get down after 3 hours sleep, and when there's no-one in the 1xtra office........ ;-)
Tuesday 1 August
Just incase you were under the impression I have a perfect superstar DJÌýlife, get this -ÌýI had a date today, and he's just cancelled! Okay, he had a good reason, but he blatantly chickened out of telling me by calling and leaving a message when he knew I'd be on air. Men! I'm gonna goÌýhome, eat chocolateÌýandÌýcallÌýup my man-hating girlfriends ;-)
Monday 31 July
I cannot believe that we're three-quarters of the way through 2006 already! Where does the time go?
Guess what? - I bumped into Terri Walker AGAIN!
This time it was on the train into work this morning. (she's from my ends y'know!) We had a good chat about her show on 1xtra - you can listen back to her filling in for DJ B last FridayÌý - How well things are going overseas, and how fit we think Invisible is!! I think you're in there Visman ;-)
Thursday 27 July
Feeling much more cheery today! :-)
Just seen Terri Walker, who's preparing to fill in for DJ B tomorrow on Soul Power (12 Midnite 2moro) Should be a wicked show, that girl is crazy! be sure to check it out and get her to play some of her own tunes. (She'll kill me for that, ha ha)
Tomorrow is, of course Friday, which of course means Over 2 U! if you haven't me your request yet,Ìý
Ìý
And I'll see you at Midday 2moro. x
Wednesday 26 July
Today is one of those kind of days when stupid guys ask 'is it that time of the month?'
well it's not that time of the month, but I feel really grumpy today for no reason. If I had kids they'd have been sent to their rooms by now!!
I'll be glued to my TV tonight for the Documentary about the murder of Stephen Lawrence (³ÉÈËÂÛ̳1, 9pm)
Stephen'sÌýstory was one of those things, like 911 or the Hatfield train crash, that when we're really old andÌýthere's a documentary made about our lifetime we'll be up there saying 'I remember what I was doing when I heard the news......'
For me at least anyway.
Whatever you're doing this afternoon, enjoy! see you tomorrow.x
Monday 24 July
Aren't Mondays that much nicer when the sun's out?
I had two visitors today; First up was Yungun who popped into the show to give away copies of his new single 'Forget Me Not' which comes out today. It's a nice mellow tune that goes really well with the summer vibe.
He also told us about the new album 'GMB'. to hear all about it, listen back to the show.
Doesn't he look sharp? see, even superstar MCees have alter-egos (and day jobs!)
My second visit was from Curtis Lynch JR, the man behind the Retro Sess Riddim, which you of course know featured the former 1X Record of the Week 'Ol' Skool Style'Ìýwith JD. For everyone who's been asking, I can disclose that the riddim, with all versionsÌýwill be releasedÌýas a double disc August 14th.ÌýI hear talk of a radio launch hereÌýon 1Xtra, so keep your ears peeled.Ìý
Curtis also asked if I'd be interested in appearing alongside YTÌýfor a cut on a newÌýriddim. Hell yeah I'm interested!! Keep ya ears peeled forÌýthat too!!
Friday 21 July
It's Friday!!
I'm writing this sitting in the 1xtra officeÌýon Rodney P's lap... Fever indeed!!
Today's Over to you was luuuurrrrvely. Marvin Gaye, Luther, Cheryl Lynn.... nice classic summer vibes. remember if you haven't had a request played yet, register online. You can do it now if you know what tune you'd like to hear. And listen back to todays show to hear madman Rampant Richie from LeedsÌýperform his own rendition of my track 'What's it Gonna Be' -Ìýthe first live caller to ever leave me lost for words!
Okay I'm off to the park.ÌýHave a great weekend whatever you're up to, See you on Monday!!
Rodney.... is that your phone in your pocket??
Thursday 20 July
This week has gone by so quickly. It's always the way when you're having fun!!
After yesterday's crazy chatroom It was nice to relax a bit more today! Phew!
We have just crowned Ace the King of 1xtra Daytime! As voted for by you; the people! He was really chuffed (even though he suspected a fix) and typically started 'givin' it all that' once he received his 'crown' lol. Check the pic! Listen back to the show to hear Ace merk TXU's Charlene White! I'm NOT happy about that, Char's my girlÌý:-p
If you're reading this in time, I'll be at Cotton's in Islington (that's Norf London) tonight for L Marie's gig with live band. Starts at 8pm. Good music, good food and good people. Hope you can make it.
Over 2 U 2morrow, have you made your request yet??
Monday 17 July
Woooo!
Ìý
It's good to be back. Did you miss me? No? Didn't think so.Ìý
Ìý
I have to big up the Scotland crew; I spent some time in Glasgow during my time off. So big ups to L Marie, Vanessa, Yvonne, Nicola and Nikita for taking care of me and showing me the Glasgow nightlife! Which is live by the way.
Another big up, and a HUGE thank you to Jenna G for holing down 12-2 last week. She also ran a mile for sport relief on Saturday. What a soldier!
Now I can never go away without the other 1Xtra DJ's trying some sly murkery in my absence. This time it was Jason and Iyare who this morning on their show asked 'who is the real Queen of 1Xtra Daytime; Nesha or Charlene White?'!! For some reason (known only to himself), Iyare thought the best way for us ladies to settle this dispute would be with a mud-wrestling match. What the?!??
So Char and I are getting our revenge. We want you to decide on a KING of 1X Daytime. Just one mind you! And we might need a wet T-shirt competition to help us decide. So what are you waiting for?ÌýVote now!
Ìý
Foolish boys.
Friday 7 July
What an emotional day....
And parting is such sweet sorrow....
I'll be away next week, so make sure you keep Jenna G company while she's holding it down for 12-2.
And if you really, REALLY miss me, then you can listen back toÌýthisÌýweek's shows, just remember not to start texting in!!
Be good while I'm away, see you on the 17th.
Nesh.xxxxxxx
Thursday 6 July
Typical English Summer! I left the house this morning in a t-shirt, carrying an umbrella!Ìýsort it out Mother nature!
ÌýI'm heading up to Glasgow this weekend, I'll be spending time with lady songstress L Marie, and hopefully working on a few tracks with her. (You heard it here first!)
Now for some news you might not like..........
I'll be away all of next week, so I won't be back on air until Monday 17 th !
I know you'll miss me (!!) but Jenna G will be taking care of 12-2 bizzniz. She knows how to handle you lot, so behave for her okay?!
Tuesday 4th July
Still slightly traumatised byÌýlast night's spider incident.... If you didn't hear what happened you'll need to listen back to today's show because I don't think I could cope if I had to relive the ordeal one more time.
To make myself feel better and calm my nerves I might have a shot of something stiff with my lunch... for medicinal purposes of course ;-)
I don't think I'll sleep tonight. Woe betide any spider that comes my way for the next few days!
Monday 3 July
The heatwave is here!
I had a brilliant weekend chilling out with mates, sitting in the park drinking frappuccino's. I also went shopping and bought myself some summer garms, so that I can get brown on places other than my shoulders.
I'm looking for a good outdoor swimming pool in London, or at least a nice park with a lake to chill out while the weather is still nice. If you have any suggestions, could you drop me an email? Maybe we could put together a list of top summer hangouts in the UK.......
See you 2moro
Thursday 29 June
Getting my hair done later today, so I'm happy. Still looking for a new hairstyle but so far I haven't really seen anything that inspires me.
Had a visit from Soundbwoy(Ents.) yesterday. He gave me two exclusive tracks, and then told meÌýI'm notÌýallowed to play them yet! Honestly!
And then today, I was given TWOÌýpairs of tickets for next weeks DMC finals in London, (courtesy of Matt @Dat Sound) but I've been told they're to give away on the show next week. BOTH pairs!
Meanies!
Wednesday 28 June
Too much jokes in the chatroom today. Just for the record, our chatroom game 'Fastest Finger First' is about TYPING. it does not involve touching oneself in any way. Honestly.
IÌýhad to defend myself bigtime today, and I stand by myÌýoriginal statement; Ronaldinho is BUFF! He is not ugly. And I don't care about his teeth, they only add to his charm. And yes, I would still like him if he worked in Tesco!
And before you start, I got enough stick today on theÌýshow. Listen back to it if you don't believe me.
What would they have said if I'd toldÌýthem about my crush on Spragga Benz?!
Tuesday 27 June
No long ting today, Ghana vs. Brazil- I'm off to watch the game!
COME ON GHANA!
Oh yeah, before I go, it'sÌýchatroom bizniz tomorrow from 12 - Be there!
Monday 26 June
Monday Madness!
Well, I'm mad on any day, but Uzzi had clearly lost his mind when he decided to email me begging for cash on today's show.
ÌýI did feel for him though, being broke is no joke.ÌýHe just picked the wrong day, and the wrong DJ - My lil' bro is a struggling student soÌýI've heard every sob story in the book!Ìýha ha.
This weekend was about my mates (they know who they are) who I never seem to have enough time for. I feel really guilty andÌý think they know it - but how come I'm the one who does all the running round huh?
Friday 23 June
Friday at last!
I don't have much planned over the weekend but I'm sure I'll find some trouble to get into!
Might have to take my new scooter out for a spin at some point.
What's that you say? scooter? Yeah I bought one. You didn't know? you must have missed my lastÌý thread ;-)
Ìý
I live about half an hour away from Heathrow,Ìýand I'm picking up a mate who's flying back from Ireland later (not on the scooter, in my car).ÌýI always get really jealous standing in an airport knowing I'm not going anywhere... it gets me thinking about all the places I want to see! And while we're on the subject, my little airport jaunt means I had to turn down an invitation to the Wireless Music Festival happening today in London! GGRRRRRRRR!!
Off for a lunchmeeting now so I'll see you next week. HaveÌýgreat weekend and be good!
Nesh.xx
Thursday 22 June
Uuuggh.. Hangovers. Why do I do it to myself?
I wonder if my stomach has settled down enough to eat something? I'm starving.
I did have fun last night but there are two things IÌýMUST stop doing;
1- Toying with the idea of going up for the open-mic, and then chickening out, and
2- Lecturing young emcees on why they shouldn't rap with American accents.
Ìý
And then lecturing them again on why they should listen to homegrown music. Okay that's three things. But it makes sense doesn't it? if you're a UK artist, why don't you listen to other UK artists?? How can you know if you're any good otherwise?
Sorry, I'm doing it again!!
SeeÌýyou tomorrow for Over 2 U ;-)
Wednesday 21 June
Today's a mad one, I shouldn't even still be here!
Catching up with Scottish songstress L Marie who has a gig at Cotton's in Islington (Norf London)ÌýGotta dash home, get ready and pick up the car, cos I never take London Transport unless I can help it!
Vis has been bugging me for new tunes this week, can this mean he's finally recognizing my musical skills? It has been suggested that he's just after my attention, but I doubt it. I didÌýused to have a MAJOR crush on Vis when I first started working here (I can talk about it now, I'm overÌýit ;-p)
Speaking of crushes, PrettyNikki admitted in today's chatroom that she fancies Akala! wtf??
if you think that's bad, you should check the thread on the 1XÌý about mysterious crushes.
Ìý
Best be off, don't wanna miss the start of the show!
Tuesday 20 June
Today is starting to become a looong day. I'm looking forward to putting my feet up and watching Trinidad's first victory(!!)Ìý
Something has cheered me up though, Emmanuel (aka C Swing) has just popped in to the 1Xtra towers with some new tracks for me. Yay! listen out for those.
ÌýI'm hungry so I'm off to find a munch. Make sure you join me tomorrow for the chatroom!
Monday 19 June
Wooo! What a weekend!
It all got underway on Friday night; I was at the Medicine bar in East London forÌýa Night organized by Future & Warrior in aid of the Grenada ReliefÌýFund. Massive shout to Dj Bounce who invited me down (nice set by the way!) Daz I Kue(Bugz In The Attic) also blessed the decks, and there were live sets from the Reel People and femaleÌýsongstressÌýTeish O'Day. A great night was had by all!
Teish has another gig this WednesdayÌýat Cottons (Clerkenwell, London) with support from L Marie, see you there if you can make it!
So that was Friday night, and suffice to say I was a little worse for wear at 9am Saturday morning when I was filling in for Jenna G! you can listen back to that show and have a good laugh at my croaky voice - but probly better to listen back to Sunday's show when I played tracks from the Lost Boyz's first album Legal Drug Money.ÌýItÌýwas for Jenna's Feature 'I Got Ta Have It' which is all about repping classic must have albums from back in the day.
Back to Monday and my regular 12-2 slot. I must have been missedÌýbecause I got loads of requests, and Friday is still 4 days away!
And the Hero of the Week AwardÌýwent to Terry C, who took part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride this weekend to raise money for charity. Good work mate. 1Xtra salutes you!
Wednesday 14 June
Chatroom biznizz!
Nuff giveaways today, now that the (exclusive) 'Nesha' 1xtraÌýCD wallets have arrived.
I gottaÌýsay a massive thank you to DJ Bounce, who gave away a pair of tickets for his charityÌýgig this Friday at the Medicine Bar in London E1. And shout to SoulBrother who won them, see you there mate!
There's a lot happening gig-wise over the next few days... MJB at Wembley this Sat, Van Hunt on Monday, and I also hear Busta's on his way to the UK! That's bound to be a sell-out tourÌýwhat withÌýall the attention around him of late.
Heard the new Beyonce single yet? It's called 'Deja Vu', and it features a rapper. Can you guess who? go on, try. I promise it's not hard. That's right! Jay-Z! Her man and (cough) retired rapper drops a tidy verse.ÌýA couple actually. Ain't heard it? Wanna hear it again?
Can't. Sorry!
........What's that J9??
Oh Yeah! you can hear it again by listening back to the show.
What was I thinking??
Monday 12 June
Monday and the heatwave continues!
Saturday I was at a friends BBQ -ÌýHappy Birthday Itelle! I wasÌýkickin back with a beer in one hand, a chicken leg in the other, and skanking out to some proper reggae from back in the day! (big ups to Dr. Watt for the sounds)
Today is just like yesterday - too hot to move! I think some people were even too hot to text in! butÌýI didÌýget some nice requests that will go down a treat with the sunshine on Over 2 U this Friday.
We alsoÌýgot reminiscing; What was the year of your best ever summer?? Wanna know mine? You'd better listen back!!
Til Twelve Tomorrow,
Ìý
peace.xx
Friday 9 June
Friday's show was nearly over before it begun! Listen back to Ace&Vis (in for Rampage) trying to set me up with 1X listener Dru live on air!! I tell you I was mortified.
I soon cheered up once Over 2 U got started. Big tunes today from Shy FX, Jamesy P and Wiley and classics from Jon B and Tevin Campbell. Start leaving your requests for next week now!Ìý
Ìý
I'm off now to enjoy the sunshine and find out how Mike Anthony from Rampage is enjoying his camping trip!!
Have a great weekend whatever you're doing, and don't stray too far from your DAB - they go down great at barbeques!!
See ya Monday
Nesha x
Ìý
Thursday 8 June
Ah, Thursday. The day before Over 2 U.
Today we had a test on manners; the 20 basic things that make life a little nicer. Well done to Relly who won herself a 1Xtra CD wallet for the highest score of 15.5!
If you wanna try it yourself, I've put them up on the messageboard, so clickÌý to check 'em out.
I'm a little peeved today because half the office is going to a screening of the new T.I. movie, but I can't go because my little brother is on his way in from Leeds and needs picking up from the train station! Oh well I suppose that's what sisters are for. Besides not keeping my promise to pick him up would be bad manners!!
See you tomorrow for Over 2 U. have you made your request yet?
xx
Wednesday 7 June
Wednesday is all about the chatroom! And the new discovery - we can text in different colours now!
We went with the summer vibe and took a virtual journey to the seaside, ice creams and all that. We talked about lost skills; things people don't practice anymore, like manners, family Sundays and record shopping! It was inspired by a thread on the messageboard. Tell us yours here.
I'm off to enjoy the sun while it lasts but be sure to join me tomorrow as we warm up for Over 2 U.
Byeee!
Tuesday 6 June
It's a beautiful sunny day today, so I had to bring the vibes inÌýthrough the show. Had a heap of requests for UKG so we had a little mixed-up section. If you missed it and you want theÌýre-rewind - listen back now!
So, what do you think of the new look site? I should have some new pics coming soon (that means you, interactive team!) We'd love to hear your thoughts on it, so make use of the Contact Us link over there on the left. I'll be writing in this diary regularly, so hit me up anytime you wanna catch up, find out what I'm up to (gigs, etc) and for answers to some of the things I don't get time to address during the show. Which reminds me;ÌýtoÌýJ9 who texted in, Jenna's album is called 'For Lost Friends' and it's out now!
Okay that's all for today, make sure you're online tomorrow at midday because it's Wednesday, and that means CHATROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
Bless.xx
Friday 2 June
Today'sÌýOver 2 U was a Blast!
We had big tunes from Badness, T.I., Jenna G, and classic tracks from Mantronix, Bob Marley and Amira.
Big up to Stella with the poor reception lol, and everyone who hit me up with a request.
If you didn't hear your tune, send me a reminder via the online request form for next week, but make sure you listen back to the show first, to be sure you didn't your request!
I'll be back Monday for Mary J Blige day, make sure you're locked in for a chance to meetÌýthe ladyÌýin person.
Right, I'm off to get my hair did for next week. Y'all have a great weekend!!
ÌýPeace
P.S. to my Chatclub peeps; don't forget those smiles ;-)
