Why are we doing this and how can you participate?
The 成人论坛 is offering 成人论坛 Academy events, such as courses and training to audiences across the UK and beyond, which you can participate in from the comfort of your own device or in-person. You will be able to sign up for the events (either in-person, by online seminar, or live stream) via the 成人论坛 Academy website or use links on our social media pages.
When you register for the event, we will ask for your contact information, and you will have the opportunity to sign up to our newsletter for news and updates about 成人论坛 Academy’s latest work, courses, and opportunities.
Once we have approved your registration to attend an event, we (成人论坛) will send you a link via email to watch the event through Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Make sure you have internet access with Zoom or Microsoft Teams installed so you can view the online event.
When you attend the event either online or in person, you will be able to watch the trainer/panel and submit comments and questions via the Q&A box online or in person at the venue. Any comments or questions that you submit will be reviewed by our moderation team before being passed on to our event host for discussion with the panel.
The 成人论坛 will collect your personal data via an online platform used by the 成人论坛. To ensure the 成人论坛 is meeting its Charter obligations to inform, educate and entertain, we will process some of your personal data to help us make sure we are providing something for everyone and allow you to benefit from our services, enabling us to provide you with the best webinars and live streams with the most relevant information, courses and opportunities.
We also process your personal data for the purposes of your attendance at our events and providing you with the 成人论坛 Academy newsletter.
What 成人论坛 will collect and how we will use it?
The 成人论坛 will collect and process the personal data that you have provided to us about yourself.
Personal data
You must be 18 years or older to participate in our online events. If you are under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult.
When you register for an event via our online registration form, we collect the following personal data about you:

- Age (If you choose to provide it)
- Postcode
- Mobile number (if you choose to provide it)
- Employment status (including job title if you provide it)
- Highest level of education received
Depending on the questions you answer via the online uploader registration form and the details you provide us with, the 成人论坛 may also collect, and process special category data. This might include for example:
- Health related data
- Race or ethnicity data
When you attend a 成人论坛 Academy event online seminar or live stream, during the event we will also collect the following personal data about you from Zoom/Microsoft Teams:
- Your country
- Your join and leave time
- Your name linked to a comment if you do not submit it anonymously
- Your comment or question if you choose to submit one
Who is the Data Controller?
The 成人论坛 is the 鈥淒ata Controller鈥� of your personal data. This means that the 成人论坛 decides what your personal data is used for, and the ways in which it is processed. For the avoidance of doubt, your personal data will be collected and processed solely for the purposes set out in this privacy notice.
As the Data Controller, the 成人论坛 has the responsibility to comply, and to demonstrate compliance with, Data Protection Law.
Zoom and Microsoft Teams will act as a separate Data Controllers in respect of the personal data processed as part of the services that they provide to you when you create an account with them. The event sessions will be recorded, and it will not be possible to opt out of this functionality.

Lawful basis for processing your personal data
The lawful basis on which the 成人论坛 processes the personal data is the performance of its public task. The lawful basis on which the 成人论坛 processes your special category data is substantial public interest. The 成人论坛鈥檚 role is to act in the public interest and to serve all audiences with content which informs, educates, and entertains.
This is consistent with the 成人论坛鈥檚 wider public purposes under its Royal Charter, which states that the 成人论坛 must 鈥�鈥how the most creative, highest quality and distinctive output and services: the 成人论坛 should provide high-quality output in many different genres and across a range of services and platforms which sets the standard in the United Kingdom and internationally.鈥�
Sharing your information
The 成人论坛 works with our approved third-party providers who help us to provide some of our services. These partners only use your personal data on behalf of the 成人论坛 and not independently of the 成人论坛.
We will not share your personal data with any other third parties unless required or permissible by the law.
Retaining your information
The 成人论坛 will retain your registration data provided through our online platform for seventy-five (75) days, after which it will be aggregated for reporting purposes, and any personal data will be deleted.
If you choose to sign up to 成人论坛 Academy newsletters, your personal data will be kept for the purposes of providing the newsletter. After (2) years you will be asked to confirm whether you wish to continue receiving the newsletter.
If you choose to opt out/unsubscribe at any time, your details will be added to a suppression list and then deleted after ninety (90) days.
Event recordings could be chosen to feature on the 成人论坛 Academy website and would be kept in perpetuity for archival purposes and to enable others to watch them. Only those that conduct the event will feature on the recordings. If the selected recording contains any comment or question of yours which could include personal data, this will also be kept in perpetuity.
Your data will be stored within the UK and the EEA (European Economic Area).
Your rights and more information
You have rights under data protection law:

- You have the right to request that we rectify any inaccurate or incomplete personal data that we hold about you.
