A new live music night brings folk and roots to Bracknell on the fourth Thursday of every month.

Folking Live Bracknell, following the successful Folking Live events at The Maltings in Farnham, promotes local and emerging talent within the intimate setting of The Cellar Bar in South Hill Park.

Mixing traditional and contemporary folk, blues, bluegrass, country and Americana – Folking Live Bracknell will bring many aspects of the roots scene to each evening.

Three artists will play 20 minute sets, followed by a headline act for 40 minutes.

Phil Daniels from Folking Live Bracknell says: "We're keen to mix both local performers and also artists from further afield who are maybe making a bit of a name for themselves on the scene.

"Basically we want to bring the best array of talent available to as many music fans who enjoy a good song and good variety in a nice chilled out atmosphere."
