For festivities across Wednesbury, West Bromwich, Great Barr, Blackheath, Langley and Cradley Heath, read on.
Please note - all events are free unless otherwise stated. Light switch onsThe events took place at Blackheath, Langley, Wednesbury, Carter's Green and Greet's Green during November and December. Weekly eventsBedtime Hour SureStart at GlebefieldsTipton Library, Every Monday, 5.30-6.30pm, info: 0121 557 8641. Special eventsThe Tipton street festival; Christmas Past and Present at the Wednesbury museum; Cinderella's Fairytale at Oak House; Paperchain in the Parlour at Haden Hill House; and the Nasty Girls in West Bromwich all took place at the start of December. There was also: an organ recital with Keith Hearnshaw in West Bromwich; a Goldilocks puppet show in Tividale; a carol concert in West Brom; a special Narnia Christmas in Cradley Heath; carols at Oak House; and an evening of Black Country humour in Wednesbury. Baby Christmas Tipton Christmas Sleigh TourUntil Saturday 22nd December 6pm – 9pm street tours, 10am – 6pm at supermarkets during weekends. Christmas on the FarmSunday 16th December Sandwell Park Farm, Salter Lane, West Bromwich 10am – 4.30pm Admission: £2, £1.50 concessions, family ticket £6.50. Small entrance fee to Santa's Grotto. Info: 0121 553 0220 The highlight of the year as visitors join costumed staff to celebrate the end of the year.
