Portfolio Collection is a production from StopGAP Dance Company featuring professional dancers with and without disabilities.

The group say they are the only professional dance company in the UK to boast a performer who uses a wheelchair, a performer with a learning disability and non-disabled dancers.

They perform internationally across the UK and aim to challenge preconceptions and show that anything is possible.

The group includes dancer Laura Jones, who managed to complete all aspects of A-Level Dance using a wheelchair and Chris Pavia who Mencap cited as 'achieving excellence in his career'.

Portfolio Collection features four short pieces by choreographers Nathalie Pernette, Hofesh Shechter, Gary Clarke and Rob Tannion.

With music ranging from Tarantino-style sounds to a Spanish lament, Portfolio Collection is a combination of rugged male duets, slicing dance steps moving with apples and edgy, contorted power duets culminating with a floral finale.

StopGAP Dance Company bring Porfolio Collection to The Arena Theatre in Wolverhampton on Tuesday 26th February 2008 at 7.30pm.
