Rubbish & recycling collections

Please note: rubbish collections changes are the same as recycling collections changes.

Collections will take place as follows and normal collections will resume on Monday 5th January:

Monday 22nd December 2008 - Normal collection day
Tuesday 23rd December 2008 - Normal collection day
Wednesday 24th December 2008 - Normal collection day
Thursday 25th December 2008 - Saturday 3rd January 2009
Friday 26th December 2008 - Friday 2nd January 2009
Monday 29th December 2008 - Normal collection day
Tuesday 30th December 2008 - Normal collection day
Wednesday 31st December 2008 - Normal collection day
Thursday 1st January 2009 - Saturday 3rd January 2009
Friday 2nd January 2009 - Normal collection day

Libraries

All Libraries in Sandwell will close on:

Wednesday 24 December 2008
Thursday 25 December 2008
Friday 26 December 2008
Saturday 27 December 2008
Sunday 28 December 2008
Thursday 1st January 2009

Please check individual Libraries for opening times on other days.

Museums

All Sandwell Museum sites will be closed throughout January 2009.

Christmas dinner

Galton Valley Canal Museum will close to the public on December 19 at 3.00pm and will re open on Tuesday February 2 2009.

Oak House and Wednesbury Museum & Art Gallery will close on December 19 at 5.00pm and will re open on Tuesday February 2 2009.

Haden Hill House will close on Sunday December 21 at 5.00pm and will re open at 10.00am on Tuesday February 2 2009.
