So you may have heard the news on the show this morning, but if not, with this blog I hereby announce my engagement. During a lovely night out for us two on Friday night when Nicole was being looked after by her grandma, I decided to pop the question to Jayne. She must have thought that I had bad guts when I disappeared to the lavatory for about 15 minutes, but what she didn’t know was that I was actually outside on the phone to her dad asking his permission first (got me loads of brownie points). Upon re-emerging from the ‘toilet’ I asked her to marry me, and fortunately she said yes, thus saving a lot of embarrassment and ruining a perfectly good meal.

Well what a 48 hours - I meant to do this blog yesterday but I was in a delicate and fragile state of mind that the emotions could have exploded out into a rant..To be honest they are not much better today but I hope you don't mind me using the blog as some sort of therapy to get over the loss of the Special One. I still find it hard to believe thats it with his ties with Chelsea and that we now have some unknown Israeli at the helm. I know those of you who hate Chelsea will be thinking ha ha ha! But Jose is a massive loss to the Premier League as a whole - he was a breath of fresh air compared to the hum drum Fergie's and Wengers we'd had to put up with...
So here we are with a litle goodbye to Jose, his cashmere blankets, his homlettes and his supermarket eggs..

Apologies blog fans as you have to suffer the ramblings of the least known member of the Chris Moyles show team.

Chris asked me to write today's installment as, in his words, I didn't have anything else to do. How rude. He obviously doesn't realise the pressures of being a high powered exec producer. I have both lunch and tea to sort out today.

I thought I'd use my blog to do my "guess who", as I can't do it on air.

So - cue special "guess who" music. (I'm now mentally humming it).
