Tonight's show was all about Dubstep vs the US - I caught up with US superstar Eve; we had a Guest Mix from the new LA resident Rusko full of exclusives and DJ Plastician passed through 1Xtra towers to speak about the "Dubstep LA" mixtape (I even wore my USA Bear T-Shirt in honour!) Hold tight for the linkage to the mixtape...

Tomorrow from 7pm we have the Dubstep All Stars in the mix with Chase n Status, Nero, Jakes, Joker and Plastician back to back. Make sure you lock in, it's going to be MAJOR!

All this week on 1Xtra is Dubstep week - I get the chance to represent a genre that is currently DOING IT for me and for an increasing amount of people at the moment.

In order to know where we're going we have to know where we've come from so tonight (Monday) has been all about 'The Roots Of Dubstep':

Dubstep PIONEER hooked us up with an amazing dark garage/proto-dubstep mix..

El-B & Noodles came into the studio to talk about the days & the history of Dubstep as they know it (shouts to Sarah Soulja!)

And Radio 1's First Lady of Dubstep Mary Anne Hobbs broke down how she fell in love with the genre and in turn introduced the world to it with her seminal
