Good lord. And you'd have thought his sartorial advisers could have helped him choose a tie that didn't fight with it.

I don't know if it was just luck, or whether someone acted on my email... but thank you thankyou... the 5pm pips were at a beautiful level last night... That's what I've always said about the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳, you care about the little things... the big things are another matter!
Ruddy good show PM!!
For the uninitiated, including Radio 4 presenters, Michael Rosen’s Word of Mouth programme determined that the correct pronunciation of that tricky forename is ‘Min-yiz’. Apparently the Z is not actually a Z, but I forget the character it replaces.
The whole stage-managed, on message, artificial happy-chappy-back-slappiness makes me nauseous.
It reached it's nadir when Duncan-Smith let everyone know that the 'quiet man was turning up the volume', followed by that chap who was hoofed out of the Labour shindig last year because he dared to go off message in public. Seems just a little too much like the Nazi ideal of 'working towards the Fuhrer' for my liking.
Si.
This is the drawback to not having a TV in the office. I have to wait for another 5 hours before I have the visual shock of Sir Mings' tie....
Lissa, I don't know what you've done, but all the counts seem right, I've been remembered. It's all hunky dorey!!

I get the same problem when I iron my husband's check shirts - Wicked, isn't it?
Oh...I see.
It's the Lib-Dem conference is it? And there I was thinking it's some fella addressing SAGA'S Annual General Meeting.
Re Dr H (3)
The letter is a yog. There was a good piece about it on the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ magazine page back in January. The web page is:
news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4595228.stm
although you may have to type that in rather than just click on it (I am really new at this!!)

Nobody on the programme seems to have read my pronunciation tips. SB6
From where I am, entries here seem to have frozen at number 8, posted 6½ hours ago - and yet I recall joining in again well beyond 18:00....

I haven't seen the Lib Dem back drop but I'm about to watch Newsnight - should I switch off before it causes me pain?

Dr. H. @9
I, for one, (obviously) read your tips on pronunciation and took them to heart; but you will be aware of the reputation we English have for not doing Foreign. So your assistance was as much practical use to me as "Understanding your body during the process of giving birth" which I also read with great interest. Was that one of your pamphlets? If so will you autograph it for me?
What makes my eyes water is the thought of all those poor old-age pensioners who were nowhere near the 50p tax backet but have ancient 2-litre cars they rarely drive and can't afford to replace. Seems like they'll be fined £800 for being poor.

(12) Probably not

Are you sure it isn't the hernia making you cry?
