That's nice. I thought it had fallen through one of the cracks. Anyway, this is another in the series of PM frogger self-portraits. I'm fairly sure I didn't turn into a prince the last time I was kissed.

As I search around on the last handful of threads for some new comment to distract me further, it just occurs to me to mention that this really is a very pointless p-c. I created the image on my PC so I could print it out and make it into a postcard to send to PM so they could scan it and turn it back into an image and post it so it can be image on my PC. I could have send the image file and it would have saved all sorts of time and money!

And now my work here is done - I just had the pleasure of having "John H. on John H sends" in the recent comments list.

If I send enough frogs, I could perhaps fill up the list...

    APOLOGIES for:

    1. Postcards.... John H - Sorry about the scanning of your specially designed Frog card. Gillian, the office manager, is getting a scanner and photoshop put onto the PM researcher's computer so in future Manveen and Liz will hopefully be able to scan and crop the photos to the correct size.

    2. Delays....As ever it's the Borg Queue holding things up. I am rebuilding the site index as often as possible. It's a pain. The Blog Wizards are trying to fix it but they've been saying that since August.

    3. Pronounciation..... re Jonnie and John W...yes, Brian did call me Lisa on Sunday after The World this Weekend. And it was the 3rd time he did it (he called me Liesl when we were in Germany over the summer) and each time my Mum texts me at 1.31 to berate him. He manages to call me LiSSa all week so I think it must be something to do with it being written down on the closing headlines script that throws him.

Big Sis, I did post under Saturday's frog, but do tell - where's Llanfair C? Maps online I've tried can't find it. Diolch.

Goodness, people have been busy whilst I've been away. As for the suggestion that the frog is mounting the 'M' - hm, wish I'd thought of that! I could have had all sorts of fun. I was actually thinking more "nuzzling", or "cosying up to" - it was all very innocent. Honest.

Drinks - "...stick around and play..". Prolly. But I have this habit of gorging on R4 and news and then wearing myself out. I frogged earlier on the entry where you and Fearless were having a chat about newspapers. I started doing the newspaper front pages thing when CelebDaq started up. Because I don't read a daily paper, I used to check up who was appearing on the front pages as a check on which celebs were in the news. I have to tell you that it became quite an obsession and I got to the stage where I had to exercise the "I can stop whenever I like" clause. I'm not sure if this frog isn't doing the same thing...

Well, the other one was in Basra this morning, but of course you can frog from anywhere. But that John H does compaire "28 acts in 28 minutes" so he can be frivolous.

.... are we about to unmask the first frogger?

John H (not Humphrys - we established this some time ago), you are quite right of course - I refer you to the inaugral meeting of "Froggers Anonymous" at my house earlier this evening. But I can't let you get over your addiction and leave just like that - you'll make the rest of us look bad. I do understand that now that Mrs H is done travelling for a while you may need to pay her some attnetion, but don't desert us. Froggers have feelings too!

and well done for going to the effort of doing it - printing it - posting it - getting them to scan it... the whole rigmarole is much more the point(lessness).

I did send mine as an image file and now think I missed the point (although I was trying to save them time!)

If there's a next time I'll post something!!

I suppose I should be flattered that, on the basis of my ramblings on here, anybody should wonder if I'm really John Humphrys having a laugh. Afterall, he's intelligent, charming and attractive, in a mature sort of way. Hahaha! Somewhat older than I am, though.

I generally approve of that John H. Although I'm pretty sure that when I was working for one of the country's leading chemical companies (a former life), he appeared in a corporate video - which was styled as the sort of news programme that he might have hosted. I always thought that was a bit cheap - but I suppose you have to make your money where you can.

Jonnie, forgot to say, yes, I think you're right, frogs do have 4 toes. But isn't it a "cartoon" convention that characters have fewer digits?

'Aperitififi' ... I love it! The forgotten Egyptian queen whose emblem was the jewelled frog.

If we ever form a band together, that's what we'll call it. ;o)

I'm already a 'Jam Tart', with another woman who can't say no when asked to sing with people.

And I'm a 'Lying Scotsman', in a slightly larger enterprise which includes a Scot (that would be me) and a trainspotter.

How I ever find time to blog is beyond me....

OtL (29), I've entered into this game and I think the only way to play it is wholeheartedly. So, absolutely - every word frogged here is a croak of truth.

Andycroak (note the croak - especially for you).

Fifi (32) - fantastic - when do rehearsals start??? Waht sort of 'sound' do you think we should make (apart from 'croak', of course)?

I got a merit mark for an impromptu version of the Frog Chorus in a phycics lesson many moons ago. (I sang the main tune, others joined in to do the frog bits and harmony - the cooperation impressed the teacher...)

That's annoying - I frogged about my merit mark here (it was relevant - honest!) ages ago and it hasn't shown up. Maybe my singing was offensive? (If so, please don't tell Fifi - we're supposed to be starting a band).
