More cards arrive: this is from Pauline Davey. The caption on the back says Feminism encourages Kulturrecycling.

Next, Aperitif wonders "Could it GET any more pointless?" on the back of a card from the DVLA which advertises easy ways to tax your vehicle.

And Enoch Ramsbottom writes of "Nick Clarke's old train set". If there's a lot of interest I could describe the four stations shown...

I'm still waiting for the card which was a piece of card to be displayed. C'mon Eddie, you know we want to see it! (The card, that is, not the... Oh'eck! I guess I'd better stop digging the hole now....)

You know that in less than 24 hours there will be 300 million US citizens. Should we ask to borrow a few happy ones to give Eddie his good news story?
Click me (Ian) for a link to the US census.

Great cards! It strikes me that Enoch Ramsbottom is Enoch OF Ramsbottom. 'Tis a bit difficult to tell, but I'm fairly sure that the top right is the level crossing in Rammy. Am I right Ted?

Here's an idea, which I expect we've all had, but anyway - Eddie could read out the population at the beginning of PM, and then again at the end.

That would be instructive and nearly pointless...

Don't tell anyone but one of my best friends is a trainspotter. Please supply descriptions of the stations so I can feed his sick obsession.

(He is also seriously good on a bass guitar, despite bad punk haircut and weird taste in teeshirts.)

    I'm listening...

That would be David Dickinson wouldn't it?

A carrot is right. Though David Dickinson is probably funnier.

Once I'd worked out that Appy is a girl, my mental picture was just like the lady in the bath. Including the hair in a towel.

    Bizarre...

And before anyone asks, no I don't look like the 2 women in the Kulturrecycling postcard at the top of this blog.

    Much, much uglier. ;)

Fifi - I'm afraid I don't look anything like the girl in the towel (is it Jodie/Jemma Kidd?) either. Fifi is such a pretty name - I imagine you have floaty clothes and frills and curly wisps, no?
