irony. Or is it just agony? I sent the newsletter which drones on about how efficient the sending of the newsletter has become of late...and it takes more than an hour to arrive.

Haven't had mine yet - and it's I.56.
You're chatty this afternoon Eric!
My thoughts and prayers are with the UK Sailors being held hostage by the Iranian Government.
Spoke too soon - now it's here, but I think it may have been held up by the spellcheck police. Quandry? Tsk tsk.
Tbh, it wouldn't be too much of a faff to re-register for the Newsletter, seeing as how they've gone to all that trouble don't you think?
I'm more than happy to wait for it; I'd listen whatever but its nice to have a 'taster'. And it would be a faff to resubscribe, probably more at your end than the Froggers (Froggers End - what a good name for a pub!)
Er - when was it sent?
14:08 it's arrived.
How about 'Ecstasy', Eddie?
After all, it DID arrive!
Mine arrived within 40 minutes. Happy to re-subscribe if that's what it takes though.
More than happy to resubscribe - I look forward to the newsletter (I am sad like that) so resubscribing would not be onerous.
Almost exactly one hour in transit. Happy to resubscribe if needed or not, as the case may be.
Yours Aye,
ed
Got it. Also happy to resubscribe. Glad you are ecstatic.
Mine arrived only 30 mins after you sent it (apparently). So, I wouldn't stress too much about it, Eric. Come join us all down the beach for an afternoon libation :-)
(And I wouldn't mind havint to re-subscribe either...)
58 minutes - now that's not too bad!
Val P - I found your glass ceiling - the photos are on Flickr.
Should that not be "Oh the normality."? Although I have noticed some improvement - it does now arrive before the programme starts - it still seems to come around mid-afternoon for me. No problems with re-subscribing although it is often nice to have something intelligent to read during afternoon coffee.
H.
"If it ain't broke don't fix it" is what I learned very early on in life. The newsletter delivery has worked without a hitch or a glitch for over a week so leave it be.
There is no guarantee the new system will work flawlessly - ask your IT folk they won't give you a guarantee.
So it is a greater risk to move to the new system that stay with the system we know and love.
I have kept a copy of every Newsletter that made it out.
Cheers
Mark Drew
its not too much faff. am happy to resubscribe as all the above have said.
Although it is also true this has been a good week for the newsletter.

[vyle: noted the psychic arrival time!]
RJD (14) Thanks for sharing your photos, they're lovely.
Eddie, it's been more than a few minutes....did you try yet? If so, it didn't work, unless you were intending to lock us all out?!
Eddie, whatever you are thinking of trying on the main thread is just giving us a '404 Page Not found' error at present.
Gillian - Thanks, but I now know that I need to invest in another lens, but I can't afford the one I want at the moment!
Mine came at 13.23 - not bad for a newsletter, especially a Friday one. I'm also happy to re-subscribe, although what will we all talk about if the newsletters start arriving on time? Come on, the uncertainty's part of the fun, isn't it?
RJD - just enjoyed a reminiscence with a pal who goes over there several times a year (he never takes any photos though so not sure whether he's making it up!). Lovely memories, hope you had a grand time.
