Yes, it is blue, but at least the text is visible this time, except on the right-hand side. By the way, is this a Humph strapline day, as that is not visible either.
H.
I feel like Joni Mitchell.
Oh, rats it's this stoopid blue business again. Can't see the comments, can't see the links, can't see the strapline.
Eddie, have a word will you?
I can think of several if you get tongue-tied.......
Fifi
It's definitely not your eyes - what on earth is going on?
Eddie, you were reading the Blog at 4.44 a.m.?
Pull yourself together, man! or cut down on the caffeine.
up at 4: 44 Eddie! Well I hope you got a little moe sleep, otherwise PM will be all over the place.
Eddie - I'm very worried, how can you possible be functioning on such a low amount of sleep (didn't Maggie T survive on 4 hours a night.....I'll leave that there).
Can't make out the comments at all though; so not sure why I'm posting....this is all too much and I had a decent(ish) 7 hours of slumber!
I worry about him overcaffeinating himself.
I was a little concerned that the chap reporting on the local elections had OD'ed on Red Bull last night. His enthusiasm was commendable but exhausting.
It is fine in firefox!
I know this isn't much consolation to those of you stuck with IE due to inflexible IT departments, but the rest of you guys should spend time with more than one browser and see the possibilities.
Eddie,
What's happening? Are you lit up in London.
It's the new night-visibility mode for presenters who insist on Blogging whilst most of the nation sleeps.
Easier on the eyes, doncha know.
Si.
It ain't blue where the firefoxes cavort!

I hope we're not going to be blue for much longer.
I have found out *why* there's a problem, although solving it will take a tad longer.
It's a fault related to Internet Explorer - if you look at the blog through another browser, such as Firefox, it looks normal (well, as normal as it ever does...)
People with far greater technical prowess than I (ie 99% of the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳) are looking into it and I'll update you with progress when I have some.

Marc,
Problems with Microsoft's peerless software? perish the thought! Those from whom Gates steals his ideas must do better next time!

All this talk of a "Blue Blog" but it looks perfectly normal to me. Not blue at all. I feel left out. Maybe you have to pay an extra subscription to get that channel?
All,
Jonnie was wondering where his 'favourites' were. I just wanted to note that the kind folk who create and develop firefox (it's a community) also have a topic under 'help' "for Internet Explorers". All will be made easy without serious withdrawal symptoms.

You broke it.
Eddie,
Que: The Potter's Wheel, The Spinning Wheel, ... and the Potter's Wheel Interlude Music (The Young Ballerina by Charles Williams) 'Til normal service resumes.
I give up - never thought I'd get eye strain from a radio programme!
Weird - just browsing in IE to see what the fuss was about, and normality was suddenly restored (well what passes for normal around here)
Oh well, back to firefox, which doesn't seem to suffer from these issues
Ho ho
Humph (1) you big fibber?!
Humph (1) sorry - when it was all blue I read your comment as:
This is a Humph strapline day.
Sorry! :-(
Phew. Crisis over. The problem is though to be down to an errant " (I was going to put the single inverted comma into inverted commas, but realised that """ would have looked plain bizarre.)
Blimey Marc (23)! Now then Ed, see why I'm scared of breaking the Inernet?...
But for the first time I have been zapped back to September 26 even with Firefox - so who's missing punctuation causes that one?
The ‘blue’ has been fixed, but now this place appears to be set with entries from last September as the first/main page.... It took me a while to find this again.
P.S. Is it alright for me to say that I can see your strapline...?
Hi Dr. H
Good to see you amongst us and hope you're well.
Blog seems fixed now.
Big Sis - I have a new computer at home now, and will soon be online again properly. Do please beg, peoples, if you’d like to see me here again more regularly.
Hey Doc H - yes please, we'd like to see you back again! And andycroak, and John H who are on some of today's other threads...
Btw I've missed the Blue again :o)
blues...?
just looked through what i have on me computer... uh oh 444 results. I'll pick a selection...
There's "Bullfrog Blues" by Canned Heat (but none of us frogs does bull of course...)
"Blue" by the Durutti Column
"Mr. Blue Sky" by ELO (c'mon - a classic!!)
"Blue Thunder" Galaxie 500's ode to the wonderful 80's helicopter series
"Blues before sunrise" - John Lee Hooker's ode to Eddie
"Longhair's Blues-Rhumba" because the Rhumba and the Blues just so shouldn't go together but Professor Longhair makes it right...
"Ganges delta blues" - same goes for slide guitar and classical indian music but again, this from a truly beautiful Ry Cooder / V.S. Bhatt album
and... oh, no, no more. Too many quirky Blues song titles and I haven't read all the blog entries from today.
Welcome back Doc. Happy new computer!
Dr. H:
As the great man said:
I could dance with you until the cows come home. On second thought I'd rather dance with the cows until you come home.
Beg, my dear, why that's the last thing I'll do.
;o)
