Climate Change.

Eddie Mair | 14:06 UK time, Thursday, 15 November 2007

The Government has published its bill. There is more . I've just recorded an interview with Mr Benn.

By the way: can you identify from the following website slogans, which is Friends of the Earth and which is the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs?

A:"Making life better for people by inspiring solutions to environmental problems"

B:"Enabling everyone to live within our environmental means"

Which is which?

The government’s plan to erect a huge wind turbine in a London park to supply Parliament is yet another ‘naïve green’ political, at least we are doing something, ploy for two very simple reasons: -
    (1) It will not reduce pollution as no power station in the UK has ever reduced the amount of fuel it burns because of the availability of wind power
    (2) It would not be cost effective as its turbine and generator will have to be replaced every 10 years and each set would cost more than 30 years savings on Parliament’s electric meter readings.

Successive Governments have repeatedly shafted the British tax-payer so perhaps it's only right there'll be a monumental structure "we" can visit that will doubtless be acknowledged to be "Brown's Huge Erection"

btw, does anyone know how I can keep using dimmer switches but be low-energy? I'd really like the option. Er, I'd like to be enabled thuslywise.

Yeah, yeah, 502. I wonder how much energy we waste by trying to post and getting THAT message?

Do a search for "smooth dimming energy saving lamps". That should give you some options.

After our Prodigy concert, which overan, we were banned from Marbella. Mayor Gill went on to fulfil his corruption. Regards Brian Martin
