9 December: Christmas Decorations
It's been a busy old week in the office what with getting everything ready for this week's programme AND putting up the Christmas decorations but we managed to get there in the end on both fronts...
Jon Ronson acted as studio guest and Stewart Henderson performed as poet. Colin Coward talked about being gay in the priesthood and Mike Gatehouse recalled getting caught up in a coup. Brian Sewell spoke movingly about his love for his dogs while Paul Kelly had a more pragmatic approach to his turkeys. Ashley Davison gave some advice for budding entrepreneurs and Amanda and Bill explained what makes good elevator etiquette.
As far as the decorations are concerned well we've got a string of old Christmas lights wrapped around our whiteboard, it's not much but we're easily pleased. I think Torquil found them in a skip outside Broadcasting House.
What do you think?...
Update:
Listen again to this edition of Saturday Live (9 December 2006).
I put all of my Christmas Decorations in November.
