Complain about this postThe committed smoker came over as smug, self-centred and self-satisfied. She came a very poor second to the woman who supports human rights.
"I pay my taxes" and "I have rights" - but apparently little compassion and common sense.
Complain about this postThis lady sums up the attitude of smokers. They think the smoking ban is a direct attack on their civil liberties. Of course it is really supporting the civil liberties of non-smokers. I do not want to come home from the pub and have to put all my clothes in the wash because they smell of revolting cigarette smoke. Not to mention of the effect on my health of breathing in the smoke.

At last - a small voice of common sense and a lady determined to be true to herself. She is so right about the forthcoming ban being divisive too. Already it is said that at any gathering where smoking is banned all the interesting people are outside having a puff! I wonder how long it will be before the PC brigade try to ban that too.
