an encounter
hello people. hope all is well in your world. i know - it's kind of me to ask isn't it? this week's programme is shaping up very nicely and i think it's going to be one of the finest so far. this, despite the fact that i spent very little time working on it yesterday. instead i had to go and interview Mark Thompson - the DG - for a radio festival being held in the bowels of Broadcasting House. i'm not telling you this so as to impress you. in fact quite the opposite. these kind of interviews are usually pretty ghastly for all involved, you are never sure exactly what the perameters are, and perhaps it was for this reason that i found myself quoting to him the thoughts of my leg waxer, Jadene. Now Jadene is a bright young thing and she does a mean wax - but she has no idea what the 成人论坛 is and every time we end up having the same chat when she tells me about everything she likes and hates about Channel 4 and i keep telling her i work for Radio 4 and they aren't the same thing. Sadly when the pain gets too much i just find myself agreeing with her and offerring to pass on her thoughts about what's wrong with Big Brother. I feel fraudulent in making this promise.
And come to think of it this is the second blog i've written about Channel 4 in two weeks which is just not the done thing on a Radio 4 website. But which will be worse - being sacked for being too hirsuit or sacked for feeling too much love for Jon Snow?

It is our society's quest for vengence that is a major part of the problem. We become blinded so that we end up wasting a life and that is a trajedy. We should as part of our education see that to build a society requires an ability to forgive and respect. Sadly this seems hard to find at the present.
Complain about this postGood show on saturday, the bit about the ex-con who was wrongly convicted brought tears to my eyes and made me choke up abit. Its good that things like that are talked about.
My wifes about to endevour upon a leg wax. she's not had one done before, ill let her know you also wax...this might inspire her to be brave.
Oh and i second the idea that you should put yourself forward for the celeb BB ;)

Since i discovered those mellifluous ( it must be a word, I heard Simon Callow use it once) tones of yours on your Saturday morning prog I have been using your prog to go to sleep to. So sorry, have no comment to make on Saturday Live's content but if your prog. is as good as the quality of the lay-in it induces then hats off to ya. Could you perhaps paraphrase everything that your guests say as sometimes they wake me up.
