I'm the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳'s media correspondent and this is my brief selection of what's going on.
The National Audit Office will be able to fully examine the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳'s finances for the first time, after weeks of negotiations between the Government and the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Trust reports the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳.
The the coalition government has pledged that the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳'s editorial independence will not be harmed by giving the National Audit Office carte blanche to investigate the corporation's books.

Feedback presenter Roger Bolton, who was a ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ current affairs editor in the 1980s, has written to the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ in-house magazine Ariel rebuking Mark Thompson for saying the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ had a "massive left-wing bias" thirty years ago, .
