I'm the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳'s media correspondent and this is my brief selection of what's going on.
The ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ says it will work harder to achieve an authentic portrayal of lesbian, gay and bi-sexual people across its programmes. The commitment follows research by the Corporation which shows it's made progress but could do more to reflect the diversity of the group.
The the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳'s landmark study revealed a split in attitudes towards scenes of gay, lesbian and bisexual relationships. It showed that while 49% were comfortable with gay scenes, another 18% were not happy with them.

The ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ reports Radio 1 Controller Andy Parfitt said he'd not reprimanded DJ Chris Moyles for an on-air rant about his pay: "For me, it was a question of deciding whether he had overstepped the red lines or not. In my judgement, he hadn't."
The Andy Parfitt also said Radio One was working on the launch of a monthly "Panorama for young people" to expand its news and current affairs coverage. He was talking to the Broadcasting Press Guild.
