Day Off
A post Good Morning Wales day-off today ... but here's what my familiy used to call a "notice-lo-moshyn" to all Lib Dems out there.
Small Tree, Eluned to name but two. You may still be visiting the blog without commenting but this is your big blog weekend. I'm still sticking with my earlier version of events in 'Sprechen Sie Deutsch?' I'm trying but failing to add a link ...
And it now looks as though Mike German is prepared to stand down immediately after the local elections in May next year, which may be enough to appease Mr Black the any-colour-but-black tie wearer.
We all know that I'm not allowed to start a mini-poll but you can comment and let me know what you think.
Should he stay, should he go?

I always was a big fan of The Clash.
Having listened to Eleanor Burnham on CF99, there is definitely something afoot in the Lib Dem camp, she was as evasive as Mike German was. I will try and watch the conference...but I'll probably fall asleep listening to all those 'eloquent' speakers talking of 'utopia'...cloud cuckoo land politics!!

The Clash eh? Ties or leadershp battles in mind?
Betsan,
Cheeky wave blog is down yet another ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Error message, this is becoming increasingly frustrating!!
Again - sorry Arfon. I'll ask the experts what's going on. I'll let you know what they say (and you'll probably be able to make sense of it ... )
The trouble with pruning, and as my name suggests, I may have some experience, you have to be very careful and know what you doing because you could be cutting off the wrong branch. Once the branch with next years fruit buds falls to the ground no amount of rooting powder will make it survive.
This weekend could be such a case.
So is this pruning, grafting or is it tree felling?
My roots suggest it is an attempt at pruning but it is really grafting. It is the Leader of the Party being grafted onto Leader of the Assembly.
Is this wise?
Sometimes it works if it is grafting. But what is the stock available. Is it to be the too young and stock from the left side of the tree or will it be an older and more mature fruitful stock. The real worry is we do not know and there is a general deficiency of stock.
My old and tired branches are shaking from the recent buffeting and suggest to me that talk of pruning and grafting at the top of the tree is too early and a period of settlement is needed.
What was encouraging from the weekend is the prospect of the tender branches of Local Government cooperation are to be looked after and encouraged through careful nursing it could prove to be the creation of a new stock which will produce an orchard from which will stem future grafts.
15/10 Betsan ~ Still can't post to yo' Blog?
Maybe Lembit's been fiddling with the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ server...
...which would make a change!
