We're under attack from insects
Is your community under attack from insects like flying ants and even mosquitoes like villagers in Rossett, near Wrexham, who are being bitten left, right and centre?
Local pharmacist Glen Thompson tells the numbers of people affected by mosquitoes is the worst he has seen in 23 year career.
Meanwhile, a pest control chap who, by coincidence was in our office above Wrexham library today, said they were more likely to be midges than mosquitoes.
He was saying he and colleagues have been rushed off their feet with high numbers of people calling the office with problems with rats and mice displaced by high water levels, particularly in Corwen.
In Wrexham, he was saying flying ants plagued the car parks at Plas Coch Retail Park. Apparently the ground is sandy which attracts them.
