Comments have been coming in to from people in North Wales who felt last night's which affected big parts of England.

At 1.09am, Chris Steele in Towyn, near Rhyl, wrote: "There has just been quite a powerful eathquake in Towyn which caused my desk and computer monitor to shake and pots to rattle. I have never experienced one quite as powerful as that before and thought I should write in a tell you."

Eleri Roberts in Ruthin: "I was in bed when I was woken up by a noise which I thought that the children were running around my bedroom making the wadrobes rattle. When I sat up and opended my eyes there was nobody there. I looked at the alarm clock it was around 1am. When I got up this morning and watched TV I realised that it must of been the earthquake that woke me up. Amazing!"

At 1.11am, Kev Matthias in Wrexham wrote in to say: "Did anyone else feel a shake?"

This is now the third tremor we've felt in North Wales with two others - one last October and one in May 2006.
