Thai election resolves little

The party of Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra wins a , but a political crisis looks unlikely to be resolved.

We'll be talking to Thai voters and asking them what they think of the standoff between the prime minister and the opposition.

One of the questions we'd like answered is whether opposition supporters think they should have taken part in the election - and possibly won - rather than boycott and lose: Mr Thaksin has just announced that his party won 57 percent of the vote.

But from the people we've been speaking to already, that's not going to change anyone's mind. How does a country move forward when teh divisions are so sharp and deep?
