LIVE - Should he stay or should he go?
Sorry for no presenter blog post earlier today, Rahul is new and can't cope with too many things at once!
Anyway back to today, we spoke all about Blair, Tony Blair that is. Many of his friends and colleagues in the Labour party say its time for him to go, he says they are being disloyal. This is what you thought...
Gloria called up to the show she was
Disappointed with Tony Blair taking the UK into wars we should never have become involved in.
Paul thinks that
Tony Blair has been a good leader and that without him the Labour party will suffer. He's still the best man for the job and if Gordon brown does come in the country will suffer.
Joe Los Angeles
Why don't you pull an Oliver Cromwell on Prime Minister Blair and lop off his head!
After all he has done for the United Kingdom, at least give him a dignified exist.
Jacques KO from Boston
He should stay there until his buddy W Bush and he clean up the mess they have made in Iraq
Gerry on Email
I don't know why there is still any debate about Blair: never mind leading the Labour party, he should be indicted for war crimes in Iraq alongside his accomplices in Washington.

Whatever one thinks of Tony Blair and his policies, he is the elected leader of this country and as such is a high-ranking politician on the world stage. At the very least he deserves respect and not backstabbing and childish foot-stamping.
Joel Bellman St Albans, United Kingdom
This bizarre obsession with the PM's departure is preventing any discussion of the real issues in public policy: health, education, social exclusion. Labour is starting to panic because thy smell defeat at the next election.
C. White Krakow in Poland writes
"Politics is the Entertainment Division of the military-industrial complex." - attributed to Frank Zappa
E Sage in Washington DC
Tony Blair is charismatic, engaging, dynamic, well-spoken, and extremely intelligent. If he had confined himself to Afghanistan and never agreed to set foot in Iraq, he would long since have become the recognized leader of the free world.
Andrew
Blair is one of the greatest pm,s but it is time to go if he wants to maintain his place in history.
David in the Ukraine thinks
Many democratic countries have limits on how long a politician can serve as leader of their country, perhaps it's time Britain did the same.

I am completely in favour of Tony Blair, he is a very good Prime Minister. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS COLLECTIVE AMNESIA that makes people forget all the good things he has done, they just concentrate in the bad things. I've been labour supporter since 1995 and will remain loyal to Blair.
After the news Donavan and Mark called up the show and went head to head...
Mark said he had a list in front of him with Tony Blair's positive and negative achievements. The plus list had one comment (he didn't allude to what) and the minus column had too many comments to count.
But Donavan said Blair's record is good and his tax reforms and social transformation have changed this country (the UK) for the better. He says that he's even been persuaded to have kids because of the Labour government, as he's now able to afford a decent life.
Another American perspective:
The American people haven't gotten over our anger at the Iraq invasion.
Many of us feel grieved that Bush has brought Blair down. We loved and respected Blair more than Bush anyway. He has much better manners and grammar also.
Tony in Maryland, USA
Why should Blair step down? he was elected by the British people, and if am him I will stay longer than those people calling him to step down. He has not completed why he was elected as the PM and am more than disappointed on those parliament calling on him to step down as disgraceful. And Golden Brown should keep his mouth shut and wait until the day he said he will go. If they do not want him, Blair should come to America and govern America and Bush should go. Blair is the best PM UK will ever have.
I LOVE BLAIR.
Tamara in Chicago
Umm, you must be mistaken .... Blair isn't respected in the US. Don't lump Americans into your love of Blair. I haven't met one American that cares for the man, and I LIVE in the US
Californian with an opinion.
i think the majority of americans who have an opinion will agree that Tony Blair is a tool. He is the pupet of the Bush's administration.
Hosea in Kenya
Tony Blair mustn't hide his head in the sand - it's too late for him. Today Britain is ruled from the White House.
Ahmed - South Africa
Tony Blair has messed up. The British electorate shouldn't've re-elected him. Hasn't he got a conscience.
J. Tsaka in Malawi
If Blair does not leave now, how will he be different from Mugabe?
Pastor Marcus in Zambia
People in Britain chose Tony Blair and they are the masters and not just a few ministers who are disgruntled.
