Sorry everyone, a bit of a breakdown in the process today. But better late than never, so here's what we're talking about today.

First up, the decision of a German court to on probation after serving 24 years in jail.

Brigitte Mohnhaupt, 57, qualifies for early release after serving a minimum proportion of her five life sentences. What do Germans think of the release? Is it right for the court to follow the letter of the law, or should public sensibilities be taken into account?

Then, with Barack Obama declaring over the weekend that he will run for US president, we want to hear the the . Some African-American voters argue that Obama is removed from struggles and cultural identities of most black Americans.

And what about the Dixie Chicks? Lead vocalist Natalie Maines's public criticism of US President George Bush on the eve of the 2003 invasion of Iraq led to a public outcry against the group, but they've come back to . So have they been forgiven?

That's all coming up in, err, about half an hour. I expect we'll do better tomorrow...
