³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Comedy editors access scheme

Post-production opportunity for deaf, disabled and neurodivergent talent

This scheme is currently closed for applications.

Our new pilot talent scheme is offering two candidates with a lived experience of disability the opportunity to accelerate their careers in editing for scripted comedy.

The placements consist of two shadowing opportunities: one entry level role for an edit assistant supported by Picture Shop based in either Manchester, Cardiff, Bristol or London and one mid-level role for an assistant editor to be supported by Fifty Fifty and Roughcut TV in London.

As well as the paid shadowing placements, the chosen candidates will receive mentoring, training and a £5k grant to help develop their careers further. As this is a talent-led scheme the details of the placements will depend on the experience and situation of the chosen candidates.

We hope the first year of the scheme will allow us to identify skills gaps and barriers to entry to help shape future iterations of the scheme, with an ambition to include editors in the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Comedy Collective going forward.
