'Surfs Up' Exhibition until January 8 2006.

鈥淓xperience the new Endurance and Survival exhibition at National Maritime Museum Cornwall from 11 February 2006. This new year-long exhibition is an adrenalin adventure, re-living the stories behind some of our most famous adventurers, including Shackleton, Ellen MacArthur, Tony Bullimore and Robin Knox-Johnston. All have endured and survived, in a personal challenge to achieve their goal; often in the face of extreme danger and this exhibition captures the incredible stories behind their achievements and those of less well known adventurers."

The best way to get there? By boat. Use the Park & Float and sail to the Museum in a classic ferry - it's a great way tp start your visit.

Open daily 10-5, 7 days a week. Closed Christmas & Boxing Day.

The visitor centre explains how Rowena Cade built the internationally famous theatre with her own hands. During the summer months enjoy an open air production at the Minack with the spectacular backdrop of the west Cornwall coast.

Visitor Centre open:
9.30am-5.30pm April to October
10am-4pm November to March

Theatre Productions:
Evenings: Monday to Friday at 8pm May-Sept
Matinees: Wednesday and Friday at 2pm (and every weekday June 2nd-6th and 16th-20th)
