The event will take place on Sunday, 4 June amidst the stunning scenery of Bicton College in East Devon. There will be music, Morris dancing, environmental art, a nature trail, wildlife film screenings and a wide variety of workshops and activities to do with the environment. "It'll be a fabulous day out for all the family," said Carys Edwards, the 成人论坛 South West producer for Springwatch. "We'll have plenty of wildlife and environmental activities and we hope people will have so much fun they'll be inspired to go off and help care for the environment in which they live."

The Springwatch event is linked to an ambitious 成人论坛 campaign, Breathing Places. It aims to inspire one million people around the country to transform 50,000 places for the benefit of both wildlife and people. It's hoped that people across Devon will join in the effort and renovate an area close to them. "We are lucky to live in one of the most beautiful parts of the country," said Carys. "The moors, parks, seaside and woodlands make this region a special place and we hope to encourage people to bring more of this beauty onto their own doorsteps." The projects are wide ranging and look at both rural and urban areas.

"It could be anything from a school creating a wildlife pond to an inner-city community clearing a derelict area," said Carys. "We'll also have details of how people can obtain funding to help them create a Breathing Place and some of the best projects will be featured on Spotlight, local radio stations and the 成人论坛 websites. "We'll also cover a wide range of stories from migrating birds to the creation of wildlife gardens, as well as show some fascinating black and white footage from the South West Film and TV archives." There is also a chance of seeing something a little beyond the normal. "You may even catch a glimpse of our presenter Justin Leigh exploring rivers in his canoe!" said Carys. Tickets will be mailed out approximately two weeks before the festival. There is a restriction on the number of tickets available, so please order early to avoid disappointment. The tickets will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Directions to Bicton College by car: From the M5 take junction 30, signposted Exmouth, Sidmouth, Bicton Park.听 At the first roundabout take the road signed Sidmouth/Bicton Park and stay on this road until you reach the village of Newton Poppleford. At the mini roundabout take the right hand turn to Budleigh Salterton and Bicton Park.听 Follow signs for Springwatch and after nearly two miles you will reach the grounds of Bicton College.听听 You will be guided into the car parks by stewards.听 Parking will cost 拢3 per car.
