She and her family have lived in Cornwall for seven years - they were the first family from the Baltic state to move into the county. She's keen to mark the ninetieth anniversary of Lithuania's Independence.
Rita came to Cornwall from Lithuania seven years ago. She started off cutting cauliflowers and picking bulbs - now she's moved on and has opened a shop selling Eastern and Central European produce. She's got newspapers and DVDs too.听  She's keen to promote her country's heritage, especially this year, as it's the ninetieth anniversary of Lithuanian independence. It's not been plain sailing since 1918, as there were three bloody wars before the country was occupied again at the end of the Second World War.
