In the last two weeks Jenny Blackhall and her dog Mr Foley have raised £500 for the Precious Lives Appeal by going around businesses in Bodmin and asking for their support by giving money top the charity.

Mr Foley has, at times pulled a German Shepherd Dog cart which is not allowed on the public highway. Jenny's idea is to get a cartload of money pulled by Mr Foley.

³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio Cornwall caught up with Jenny to find out about her mission...

Mr Foley is a young dog at just 15 months old. He will also be taking part in a sponsored "walkies event" at Trevarno Estate near Helston on Easter Monday where dog owners are encouraged to raise money by taking their dogs around the estate.

Jenny says she wanted to support Precious Lives because she has 16 grandchildren who are all healthy and wants to support those who are not so lucky. She says it is so good to be out with Mr Foley and people commenting on how nice he looks. It brings a lot of happiness to people.
