The Futureheads return to Cornwall as part of the Unleashed line up on Saturday 9 August 2008.

Other bands appearing on the same bill include The Pigeon Detectives, Reverand and the Makers, Sam Isaac and The Astro Firs.听

The Futureheads, who shot to fame in February 2005 with a Top 10 cover of the old Kate Bush hit, 'Hounds of Love' (named Track of The Year by the NME), are a favourite in Cornwall, having played at the SAS Ball and Princess Pavilion in the past few years.

Their Gold selling album 'The Futureheads' firmly established the band as one of the big guns of the British music scene and followed hot on the heels of a successful NME Awards tour, where the band shared stages with other rising stars such as Bloc Party, The Kaiser Chiefs and The Killers.

Playing live is where the band thrives, and much of their time is spent touring the States and Europe.听 The Futureheads have played two sell-out shows at London's Astoria, appeared at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds festivals, as well as a support slot on the Oasis arena tour, and a special invite to play with the Pixies at Alexandra Palace.听
