Bev Hitchcock has been obsessed with cranes since he was friends with the son of a crane company when he was just 12. He's spent his life living and breathing them ever since.

His father was a crane driver, his son is a crane driver so it's an obsession that clearly runs in the family.

Seven days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year he will look at any crane and plan a lift, wherever it is. When he's not working with them, he spends hours playing with his 400 model collection of cranes.

Bev says: "My wife spent four years living with a crane in the front room because I didn't have room for it.听 I wouldn't like to choose between her or the cranes as it would be a very difficult decision."
