The World Pilot Gig Championships 2008

Gig Fixtures 2009

2009 is another record year for the World Pilot Gig Championships With 119 gigs taking part in the international competition. ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Cornwall will be covering the action over the weekend. Here are the fixtures for this years Championships.

Last year Mount's Bay men's team rowing in Kensa won the men's title last year beating 12 times champions Caradon in the Mens final on Sunday 4 May 2008.

Earlier in the afternoon Falmouth ladies, rowing in Irene Too, clinched the women's final title. On Friday 2 May 2008 Caradon won the Men's veterans race, while Falmouth ladies, rowing in Irene Too, won the Ladies' veterans race.
