Of course, Buffy isn’t the only string to your bow. Tell us about all your other projects.
Well, as I said before , I did actually start with a vampire story which is called The Shadow Saga. It’s pretty gruesome, it’s very graphic. I say that as a warning to the average Buffy reader, who ought to be cautious about approaching that material - because it’s kind of over the top.
I have also have done a few other original adult novels. A book called Strangewood got great feedback on its US publication, I got great quotes from Peter Straub, Graham Joyce and a whole bunch of other folks. My most recent adult book is called Straight On Till Morning.
I have a brand new book that won’t be out until April of next year which I’m going to try to get published in the UK. None of my other originals are available here in the UK other than at speciality shops. It’s called The Ferryman. Clive Barker has said great things about it. He was very gracious to take the time to read it and to say something nice.
Body of Evidence is a series for teens about a girl names Jenna Blake who is a assistant to the medical examiner in Massachusetts She gets in involved in all kinds of weird science, murder mysteries, some pretty freaky stuff.
I think it’s a series that’s very friendly to the Buffy viewer and/or reader. It doesn’t have any real supernatural content but it does have a lot of mystery and characters that I am very fond of.
I also have another series called Prowlers. The first book of that just came out in the States. It’s a four book series but it may extend beyond that. Pocket Books here in the UK is going to publish it, so I’ll finally have some of my original stuff available to UK readers.
