During the week leading up to Comic Relief, Andy Whittaker often disappeared after his Breakfast Show to do some serious training... for Red Nose Day 2007 Andy wanted to make us laugh!

So, he found himself a comic mentor - who, funnily enough, was also called Andy Whittaker (Eeek, there's more than one of them!) to put him through his paces. Andy had to learn jokes, learn how to look funny and how to deliver the punch lines to make people howl!
And, on Red Nose Day, Andy bravely took to the streets of Derby to try out his new skills. His audiences included a members of the public, colleagues from 成人论坛 Radio Derby, a baby, supermarket workers, a dog and the leader of Derby City Council! And to cap it all off, Andy ended his comic day by performing his routine at the Derby Comedy Club. How did Andy's street performances go? Watch the video to find out!
