What's the name of your band and where do you come from?

What do you sound like?

We are Indie Popsters. We do gorgeous 60s-tinged pop with plenty of 80's influences in there too.

Who are your influences?

C86 , punk, Ray Davies.

Tell us about some of your best songs...

They're full of regret! 'Oh What a Life...' is about nostalgia twisting your memories so that you do things that you had forgotten were actually really bad for you, like trying to resurrect relationships that should be confined to the 'experience' cupboard.

'Goes Out' is about a doomed Friday night out.

'What Are You Trying To Do?' is all about how a small mistake can change the course of your life forever.

It uses the characters Terry and Julie from Waterloo Sunset by the Kinks who famously met at 'Waterloo Station every friday night.'

In the Play People song they arrange to meet for the first time, but it all goes wrong......

Where can people watch you play live?

No gigs are arranged at the moment.

Play People are Ralph, Clint, Nancy and Keith. We were formed in a dark german factory. We are committed to playing the finest pop.

We're not signed to any particular label. 'Oh What a Life...' has just been released on This Almighty Pop! and 'Goes Out' is released in November on Clouberry Records.

Oh yeah - and we're plastic, we're fantastic!
