What's your name and where do you come from?

Hi I鈥檓 Jake Suleman. I'm a Derby-based singer, songwriter and musician.

What do you sound like?

My sound is carved out of UK urban culture: a new-age blend of smooth indie, pop and funk, all with an R&B, hip-hop twist.

Who are your influences?

I'm influenced by big icons around the globe such as Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and the great Beethoven.

Tell us about some of your best songs...

Well I鈥檓 currently working on my debut album and it consists of my best songs. I have written from the heart which means a lot much to me.

Where can people watch you play live?

I'm currently playing live everyday at Buddha bar and I also play gigs around the city. My recent big gig was at Derby Goes Pink.

Anything else you might like to tell us about...

I'm currently working alongside local up-coming label Magik Musik Records which we are all working towards reaching the highest goal in the music industry.
