Join 成人论坛 Radio Derby, 成人论坛 Breathing Places, WildDerby, Derby RSPB local group and friends at Derby Market Place on Saturday, 7 February 2009.

Between 11am and 3pm there will be a nest-full of fun-packed bird activities for all the family.

Come along and get creative by making a mask of your favourite feathered friends and give a bird a home and some grub by walking away with a free bird feeders and bird box. Derby probation service will be there to help out making nestboxes and pine cone feeders.

Also, the "Aren't Birds Brilliant" project from Carsington Water will be there and you'll be able to find out more about their work and some of the special feathered visitors that visit the reservoir each year. They'll also be helping out with some fun badge-making.

Experts will be on hand to tell you how to plant your garden to attract wildlife and to tell you more about garden birds and conservation.

Why not learn even more about local birds and book a place on the RSPB-led bird walk to the nearby River Gardens? Taking place at 12 noon and 2pm from Derby Market Place, you could get to grips with the local birds and wildlife that they support whilst also enjoying a refreshing break from Saturday shopping!

If you'd like to join one of the walks, just meet under the Big Screen around 10 minutes before the start of your chosen walk.
