Thousands of fans queued outside a Derby supermarket to catch a glimpse of celebrity Peter Andre as he promoted his new album.

The pop star, who recently divorced model Jordan, was at Asda in Spondon to meet fans and sign copies of his latest CD Revelations.

He said he was "blown away" by fans' support, but disappointed many by revealing he is enjoying single life.

Queues started forming nine hours before the star's visit.

Peter said he was enjoying single life, focusing on his work and children, and added he is not looking for another relationship immediately.

He said: "It completely blows me away, people are so lovely and they can get you through anything."

It was also announced an upcoming Peter Andre UK tour will be stopping in the East Midlands.

He will perform at De Montfort Hall in Leicester on February 24 next year.
