I was at RHQ Roberts Barracks 1952 to 1954 ,Have been back 7 times ,what a lovely City compared with the the post war damage .Any body out there who remembers those times long ago?

I visited Osnabruck in 1988, 1990 and 1992. It still looks fabulous. What a shame it is that Derby has lost most of its historic character, and now the Quad is set to destroy the last unspoilt view of our historic market place. Our council should have followed the examples set by the Osnabruck City Fathers.
