About This Event

From one of London鈥檚 biggest auditoria to one of its smallest 鈥� the Proms moves east for a celebration of Restoration theatre music at the intimate jewel-box that is the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at Shakespeare鈥檚 Globe on London鈥檚 Bankside.

This performance offers a chance to get up close with leading performers and Jonathan Cohen鈥檚 crack Baroque ensemble, Arcangelo, which makes its Proms debut in works by Purcell, Blow, Locke and Draghi 鈥� including music for Shakespeare鈥檚 The Tempest.
