A little over 12 months ago, many pop fans were yet to discover the epic sounds of the almighty Nero. But after being named in the Sound Of 2011 and releasing a succession of Top 20 singles that soon changed.
Their appearance at Hackney 2012 marks a year since their groundbreaking Dubstep Symphony with the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Philharmonic Orchestra last June as part of Dubstep Week on 1Xtra. Supported early by the likes of Annie Mac, MistaJam and Zane Lowe, the London band went on to release a number 1 single and album last August, as well as play some of biggest festivals around including Radio 1's Big Weekend and Glastonbury. More recently they performed on the Birmingham leg of 1Xtra Live, and sold out their first headline tour.
The electronic music act are preparing to set off on their second tour in March, before returning to the Radio 1 stage to take the crowd on a sonic journey with their unmistakable compositions this summer.
