There has always been a debate about whether George Gershwin鈥檚 Porgy and Bess is an opera or a musical. But who cares?

For this production, Gershwin鈥檚 epic tale is set in South Carolina in the 1930s and features a stellar line-up with Musa Ngqungwana as Porgy, Laquita Mitchell as Bess and Donovan Singletary as Crown.

Stephen Barlow conducts the 成人论坛 Concert Orchestra as part of Grange Park Opera's second season at West Horsley Place, Surrey.
