The Interlude films were commissioned by four leading American orchestras, to which the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ SO has added a commission for the Passacaglia. Two sides of Britten’s contemporary, Stravinsky, are represented in the stringent serial ballet Agon and radiant neo-classical Symphony of Psalms, with the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Symphony Chorus, while multi-talented Ryan Wigglesworth conducts the remarkable Hungarian Barnabás Kelemen in his own violin concerto.
