The Proms festival isn鈥檛 just about listening to great music 鈥� it鈥檚 about bringing people together to make music, too. If you鈥檝e ever wished you could get involved in playing or singing in a group, whatever your age, instrument or experience, now鈥檚 your chance!
The Proms Family Orchestra & Chorus is open to families of all shapes and sizes (ages 7-plus); whether you鈥檙e a complete novice or an aspiring virtuoso, it鈥檚 a great way to enjoy playing music together as a family. Each workshop is led by our team of professional musicians who help you to explore the music in a fresh and exciting way.
Join us on Sunday 20 July to explore some of the music from the morning's Sport Prom.
How to book Proms Family Orchestra & Chorus workshops are open to all levels of ability and experience (ages 7-plus). You don鈥檛 need to be able to read music.
It's free to take part but places are limited and must be reserved in advance. Please note that the percussion section is currently fully subscribed. Click on the 鈥榮ign up鈥� box above and complete the online booking form. A member of the Proms Learning team will be in touch within 10 days to confirm if your booking has been successful. Bookings can be made until 3.30pm on Friday 18 July.
Please note that all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
