鈥楳y Friend Dylan Thomas鈥� draws to a spectacular close with a unique concert by Wales鈥檚 national symphony orchestra, broadcast live on 成人论坛 Radio 3.

World-renowned baritone Roderick Williams sings Mark-Anthony Turnage鈥檚 cycle of Dylan Thomas songs When I Woke, and we present the world premiere of a new work for tape and orchestra by Andrew Lewis, incorporating Dylan鈥檚 own distinctive voice reading his poem 鈥楩ernhill鈥�.
The programme is completed by a performance of Elgar鈥檚 final major work, his beautiful Cello Concerto, in which the orchestra is joined by the young Swansea-born cellist Thomas Carroll.
