Super producer Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, is one of the hardest working British artists right now with a string of production credits, an endless list of industry contacts and in La La La, one of the biggest singles of 2013.
The Watford born business man is also pretty business savvy too, kicking off Naughty Boy Recordings with a grant from The Princes Trust. In 2009, he won £44,000 on TV show Deal Or No Deal and since that encounter with Noel Edmonds, he has never looked back.
Khan has since worked with Alesha Dixon, JLS, Lily Allen, Chipmunk and Wiley and regularly collaborates with Emeli Sandé including the single Wonder, a track which was released on his 2012 album Wonder and Sandé's all conquering LP, Our Version of Events.
Right now, it's all about Naughty Boy. With the success of La La La and new single Lifted (also featuring Sandé), he heads out on a UK tour this November. After that? Well, he tells ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Newsbeat he wants to work with Jay-Z and, with his track record, you wouldn't bet against it.
