³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Singer Ed Price leads a fun, family-friendly workshop on Joseph Horovitz’s charming choral work portraying the story of Noah and his Ark. Horovitz’s delightful score, written in 1970 to words by Michael Flanders, appeals to children and adults alike. There will be a chance to sing through Captain Noah and His Floating Zoo alongside members of the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Singers, but also to find out more about the group and create music inspired by other compositions performed as part of the evening concert.
Ticket holders for this event can claim a 20% discount on tickets for the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Singers concert on Saturday 23 June 2018 7.30pm, featuring the music explored.
This event is open to all the family, suitable for age 7 upwards. No previous singing experience or ability to read music is necessary. All musical resources will be provided at the event.
The City of London School for Girls is situated just across the lake from the Barbican Centre, close to St Giles’ Cripplegate.
