Poulenc鈥檚 Sonata shows the versatility, variety beauty of the flute. The Orchestra鈥檚 own Principal Flute will feature in Faur茅鈥檚 evocative Pavane, before the two flautists join together for Delibes Flower Duet.

Alongside these we hear Ravel鈥檚 Mother Goose, in which Flute and Piccolo play important roles as the orchestra tell this classic fairy tale.
