Multi-talented guitarist and composer Jonny Greenwood curates a Late Night Prom featuring his new work for solo violin and strings, as well as a range of pieces broadly picking up on the themes of patterning and Minimalism.

The sunny and scintillating sounds of southern Italy come to the Proms, courtesy of the music/dance group Canzioniere Grecanico Salentino, joined by guitarist Justin Adams and kora player Ballaké Sissoko.

Jazz, showbiz and spirituality come together in Duke Ellington’s spectacular Sacred Concerts, which spawned three acclaimed, boundary-crossing albums. Drawing on all three, the Proms presents an exhilarating evening of dance, song and spectacle.

Baroque-music collective Solomon’s Knot makes its Proms debut with a late-night, all-Bach concert of cantatas, including the richly scored 'Es erhub sich ein Streit', and 'Man singet mit Freuden vom Sieg'.

In the spirit of the ‘mixtape’, first made popular in the 1980s, we present a live, late-night wind-down. It’s time for a digital detox so switch off your phone and let this concert calm the mind and nourish the soul.
